Dry here for the moment, but the forecast is...........yeuccchhh. To be fair we've had some lovely cold, crisp and frosty mornings, but much more rain last couple of days

I'd love some snow like we had 2 and 3 years ago. Odd though it may sound, most snow I ever saw was 3 years ago, right here in Manchester - about a foot of it - and that from someone who spent her first 30 years living in Scotland!

Hi Smudge, the only snow I like is on Christmas cards, or if I don't have to go anywhere. Travelling in it is a pain in the a**. Must admit I'd like to be in a Swiss chalet looking out on it and being looked after with roaring fires and plenty of alcohol, yes, I could get used to that

It poured non stop here all day yesterday and still going strong now. According to the forecast, it's predicted to continue for at least another 10 days, but it might be dry later on today for a while and dry on the 26th. But that's in the South.
