You cannot import into the UK any nic base that is higher than 75mg. No one will send you anything higher anyway. They would lose their licence if they did. I buy my 75mg nic base from NicVape.com I dont think they have a licence to worry about, this is China we are talking about

Unfortunately you though risk prosecution by importing such a strength, without a licence, into the UK Robby . . . that concentration of nicotine is highly toxic, poisonous and downright dangerous.
Why any private individual feels the need to even attempt ever buying it, I fail to understand . . . one accident with such a strength is all it would take to have the ' anti ' brigade baying for our blood.
Don't do it, please!

[glow=red,2,300]The Commission proposes to limit the amount of nicotine in solutions sold for use in electronic cigarettes to four milligrams of nicotine per millilitre[/glow] does anyone think the amount is being misinterpreted .I say this as on this forum even you hear people say they are getting nic juice at 50, 75 ect when in fact the nic juice is in fact 5.0 ,7.5 and an average diy is 1.8 as oppose to the 2.4 that is a normal cigarette or have I missed something? I doubt it's being misinterpreted, as the amount is specified very exactly as "no more than 4 milligrams per millilitre". The nic base I and many others refer to as "54" is 54 milligrams per millilitre, which is 5.4%. Ready made juice suitable for most people at the beginning of their vaping career (ie quitting/replacing smoking tobacco) is 18 to 24 mg - or 1.8 to 2.4%. 4 milligrams per millilitre is 0.4%. The fact that this directive has specified the maximum nicotine content allowable as 4mg per ml doesn't leave any room for manouvre as far as I can see. There is also the fact that the directive will not allow a container of more than 2mg. At 4mg per ml, this will be a container of no more than half a millilitre. So we're going to be stuck with prefilled cartridges, cartomisers if we're lucky. That's how I read it anyway, anyone else read it differently?

four milligrams of nicotine per millilitre
then 10 millilitres has a maximum of 40 milligrams ergo a 10 millilitre can be up to 40 milligrams maximum
so a 10ml of ejuice can be up to 40 strength?

I can see where you're going with it Ron, but it's not quite right. If I buy say a 50ml bottle of 18mg/ml strength, it'll be that strength whether I buy 50ml or 1ml. I think you're maybe confusing the total amount of nicotine in a bottle with the concentration. e.g. a 10ml bottle of 18mg/ml will have a total nicotine content of 180mg and a 20ml bottle will have a total nicotine content of 360mg, but whichever way you do it, you still end up with a concentration of 18mg/ml. If it's limited to 4mg/ml a 10 ml bottle would only have a total nicotine content of 40mg as opposed to the 180mg if it's 18mg/ml - a huge reduction in both total content and concentration

You and me both - these beggars know exactly what they're doing unfortunately, highly unlikely a lot of us would have the same success if we were limited to the sort of strength they're proposing
