Cartos seem very popular on here, what are the benefits of a cartomizer over a clearo? Thank you.
Chris.

I like the draw on cartomisers. They're cheap and cheerful but work well. Don't leak. I don't like being out and about with my juice on show

I like the draw on carts also as karma said no leaks. Although I do occasionally go out with my DCT so my juice is on show then ll

I started with prefilled cartomisers with my Skycig cig-a-like, but the first proper kit I bought, a Vision 1100, it had clearomisers with it and I have been on clearos and viva nova tanks since.
However, a couple of weeks ago I bought an SD Keyring e-cig and got 5 Boge cartos along with it. I have also invested in a GP Spheroid (an expensive carto) and I am still making up my mind about the whole carto experience. I am somewhat underwhelmed by the Spheroid as I have been with most rebuildables that all appear, to me, to be over priced and under performing.
However the straight forward and usually cheap cartomisers do deliver "as they say on the box" and do give a good clear taste. I can see me veering away from the clearos and tanks for a while and going with the cheap and cheerful cartos for a bit to see how they fair.

It's normally personal choice I guess, cartos are the easy option.

I like clearos & cartos. For me, I like the clearos for my full time vapes. I always have cartos on the go for when I fancy something different & also I use them with the auto batteries I have for the car.

I also prefer the draw with cartomisers to anything else I've tried.

I used cartos at the start and found they were easy, cheap and cheerful and as already said, do what it says on the box. I found the draw was a little tight with them but got given a stainless steel Boge carto yesterday which I may well give a go of at some point.

Never been able to get on with them personally. Annoying to fill, prone to giving a hot/burnt taste and run out of juice quickly (and you have no way of knowing when it will be).
Either my Penelope or a Vivi Nova sits on top of my Provari.

I've more or less quit cartomisers. I like the "draw" on them, but that's it. Something to do with my vaping style; I can buy a 5-pack, fill them a few at a time and then lose them all in 24 hours. I don't know what happens to them, they just seem to get to the stage where they won't hold much liquid. Also, thick liquids take ages to soak in, which is fine until you are in a hurry.
If I used them exclusively, a) I'd be topping up way to often for my liking and b) I reckon I'd use too many (with lots of flavours on the go) and end up spending more on these than kit (batteries etc.) and juice.
I just take my carry case with me. It has two batteries and 3 "chosen" flavours of liquid in 3 novas.
