Than a dry hit when dripping half way through a "big toke"? Gah... Feels like battery acid in my throat then ruins vaping for me for a while till my throat recovers Coils/ bridges etc give great vapour production though, even if it's like you just swallowed glass lol Any ideas on ways to avoid that (yeah I know fill up more often, but I think some juices burn off faster than others) because it tends to catch me by surprise nearly every time?

There is something worse. Forgetting to put the end cap back in your vivi and getting a gob full of HS Storm. Not very helpful but worth remembering.

There really isn't, it's a nasty experience that tends to linger. What are you currently using?

I may be wrong, but that may be too many V's for a 1.9ohm which could be causing the burn.

It's a bit high as LC says Kibb . . . try taking it down to 3.7v and see how it is at that voltage.

The theory is kibbster that you notice a drop off in flavour before you get to the dry hit stage, but I have to say I never got to that level of expertise with an attie! I found I much prefer re-buildable dripping atomisers as you can usually put 10 - 20 drops at a time in them and it is much easier to tell when they need topping up.

Last night I filled up my vision eternity with frost bite (very very strong menthol) was doing it in the dark and must have overcooked as suddenly I got a mouthful of it! So while I empathise with you I have to say yes there are worse things!!

These days I only get the burn when I forget to change down the voltage when I switch to a low res head on my Nova. And I haven't yet got the mouthful of juice So - get a vw device, (or vv and stick to one resistance of heads) and a tank so you can see the juice.

It's not the voltage juice burn that's the problem although that happens sometimes but that's not too bad. I'm flaming about the dripping and running put of juice part way through a vape and you start gaping the argh itself rather than juice. A very dry hit I guess.
I've got Novas ,clearos and cartos that I use out and about but they all mute the flavour compared to dripping IMHO.

is it a 306 atty kibby? 306's are great as when they get dry they give out an after hiss (after hiss is when the button is let go but the atty still hisses for a second) as soon as i hear it do this then i dont inhale the vape back... i just blow it straight out my mouth... its saved me many a bad hit
