Most people here are still addicted to nicotine and enjoy using it so it's not back to square one or anything like that.
Nothing has been undone or changed, you still got nicotine the same as usual just in a less enjoyable way
Like other said, it's not the ones you have, it's the ones that you don't have that counts

Cigs and Alcohol = Friends for life so to just have one ciggy is amazing.

I aint had any alcohol since vaping, too scared as i know how much they love each other

I called round at my mates to drop something off yesterday. I left the house without my vaping gear. He's a smoker so i asked him for a rollie.I didnt feel guilty when i asked and even less afterwards because....It tasted absolutely awful. Two drags and i stubbed it and spent the next four hours without anything.
Though im mostly into the sweeter vapes now i still use tab blended tobacco when i wake up or when i feel i need a tobacco taste hit. I love that taste first thing in the morning much more than i ever loved that first rollie of the day.

ive done quite good for the majority of the week.no cigs mon or tuesday, but struggled a bit on wednesday and had five cigs in about 2 hrs but im not going to beat my self up. im just remembering what the great people on here have said to me. its not how many you have had, its how many you havent had! its a great forum, with great people who want to help you.

Its weird the way we all look at this--I had a couple over christmas and thought nothing of it.And if I wanted one now i'd probably have one but I don't.Maybe its me lol

Yes, when it comes down to it, we arent giving up nicotine, we are giving up the tar and thousands of nasty chemicals etc, and improving our health. The odd sneaky ciggy isnt going to do much harm.

I don't think you would. I think you'd say think of all the ones you haven't smoked. I think you'd say it can happen but it's nothing to be ashamed of. Plenty of people do it. I think you'd tell them that what matters is what you do now ie continue vaping and not smoking and if occasionally you slip up its okay it happens and is still a lot lot better than smoking on a daily basis.

And when you thought all the above you'd be right. Be as kind to yourself as you would to anyone else.

After the first 3-4 days, to only have one is really good.

I think I chain-smoked 10 rollies one after the other after 5 days on vaping and since then have gradually cut it down. I've just passed my 1st weekend where I haven't had a single drag, because I just remember how awful they tasted the last time I had a few drags.

It takes a while, but it does get a lot easier. There seems to come a point where it's more about times you used to enjoy a smoke rather than it being very nice. That's what I'm finding more and more. (For example, I cooked dinner tonight and always loved a ciggie after that, the craving was still there, but some nice flavour in the vaper and it just reminded me how nasty a cig would taste).
