Do I Need A New Head?

Already? After roughly only one week? Using an Ego V3 rebuildable 1.8 on a Riva battery (fully charged) using 60/40 juice and have been suckin' the bejapers out of it all day in order to get a half decent amount of vapour. There's barely any TH either. Surely-to-goodness not?

Some juice gunks up my Vivi Nova's after a couple of days (I'm looking at you Custard Juice!)

I take it apart, clean it, dry burn about 10 times then finally rinse it again.

As long as the dry burning doesn't pop the coil, it'll make it as good as new again.

I don't use these clearos Sam, but I've thought that my Vivi heads have had it before when they just haven't been screwed in properly

Fanksh to everyone who has replied so far. Off now to Spring clean me clearo and see if that makes any difference. I have spare heads so no panic if it doesn't. It's just that it''s a long way off until payday again and I don't want to have to keep forking out for hard wear when there are so many lovely juices wot I need in the meantime.

i clean mine about every two days takes around 2 mins
take apart wash in warm water dont run head under the tap at full presure you will pop it
i dry wick with paper towel blow the rest of the wayter off drop it on the batery and burn get it to glow it should smoke like hell at first and crackle after 3 or 4 or 5 times you will see it start to glow
once she is glowing well puls the on off switch just as it reaches full glow so as not to pop the coil
ive burt 1.8 and over with power button held flat out untill they kick off they take some poping at 3.3 volts
it will get hot and heat the end of the bat so maybe give it a rest half way through i some times blow on the coil gently to cool it
when smoke stops she is good to go rebuild fill and a couple sucks to prime befor you vape
as i said i clean every couple days

I use a homemade ice mint in mine and within a couple of days it's gets gunged up but the first signs of this is normally a weak draw pretty similar to what you are describing and usually within that same day i've changed the wick and coil over and I'm back in business.

I've found the lower resistance stuff whilst great does seem to fade quicker than higher ohms.

But after vaping 1.5-1.8 I find 2+ quite lacking.

oh bless glad i could help its easy realy just a little scarry first time personaly i do this for a flavor change or just every other day soon as flavour drops or draw gets tight dosent take long and much beter vape after ( just think you suferd a whole week when you could have been vaping like a chimany )

Good stuff, glad your up and running again. I clean every juice change. Normally works out three or four days apart.
