Oh, of course he is Hissie. Died of mortification when the photos of him wearing baggy Y-fronts were published

Hissie I'm with you, the American government, just like our shower of shite, will do anything in their power to gain good publicity! It's a damn pity they can't do it honestly!

I disagree here.....they would've taken dna and blood samples to confirm it was him. Also, this operation to track him down took years. Slowly slowly catchy monkey.
The US govt. would look absolutely ridiculous if they made false claims over this just to win an election. I think not showing pictures of his dead body showed a maturity and a decency. That he probably didn't deserve. But, do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
I don't think Pakistan Govt. has a right to be pee'd off about this. And if they are ...so what. If they'd been told maybe he would've got away again.
Well done to the men and women that contributed to acheive this result. God knows they'd have got some stick if they'd messed it up.

Have to agree with a reporter/correspondent/expert person on TV earlier. When confronted with the question: Can we believe it?, he said that if it were not true, Bin-Laden would want to rapidly humiliate the Americans by ensuring a photo was taken of him holding up today's newspaper. I tended to agree with that. My concern is what the retaliation is going to be, as I suspect that is inevitable.

Now, that I hear that they tossed his body in the ocean has made me suspicious. How strange is that ???

Ah well..may have to agree to disagree.
Julian Assange is fascinating when it comes to pointing out propaganda of this nature. He did an interview on Russia Today news channel. Very interesting.

There is a lot of people with a lot of different agendas.
There is a lot of people with an interest in undermining everything.
There is a lot of people that think all conspiracy theories are fact.
There is a lot people that will believe what they want to believe.
It's always amused and confused me that G.W.Bush was mocked and hated for being tough on terrorism. Yet Bin Laden............was he hated ? Was there effigys of him being burnt openly in the streets. If there was i didn't see them.
A friend of my youngest son was brought up in Iran (till he was 11) and every day, before lessons, all the kids had to chant "death to America". Nice huh ?

Word of warning to all. I just received, what appeared to be, a link to my facebook - an invite from my cousin. I rarely use facebook, and it was an odd thing to have received from her. It was a link to the 'execution video of Bin Laden'. Thankfully I didn't open it, especially as I didn't want to see it anyway. I did do a quick internet search to see warnings everywhere that it is a scam, and if you click on the link (and to do so you have to log into your facebook page), your account, and your entire friends' listings get hacked.

There is a lot of people leaving facebook now. Not sure why i posted this . But i wonder if people are "giving away" too much info sometimes ?
How awful it would be if you went for an interview and they'd already checked your facebook page. Oooooops. We regret to tell you that you've been unsucc...........lol

I'm not a fan of conspiracy theories, however, I have the upmost respect for Julian Assange. Just for the record, I'm not impressed with NATOs murdering of Gaddafi's son & grandchildren. Just another blatant case of interferring in other countries' business. rt.com/news/wikileaks-revelations-assange-interview/

We didn't burn any effigys, Del, that's not our way. As for "death to America", that's nothing new, those kids probably don't even realize what they are saying.
