Day 5 and still no stinkies Some of my flavours have started arriving so now I have a couple of questions. RY4 is a favourite so far so when ordering some more tester size bottles I ordered a larger one. BUT it was from a different seller than I got the original tester size and it tastes very different. Still a tobacco type flavour, but no sweetness/caramel undertones, almost an antisepticy taste, definitely not so nice. Do juices with the same name vary between sellers? Or is it a case of needing to steep? (have read a little about steeping) A coconut one that is tasting slightly of coconut. Again, is it steeping it needs?

Steeping may improve them but juice with the same name does taste different from different vendors.
They all use different % of flavourings and flavourings from different suppliers!
Your doing well though, 5 days! Your taste buds may well change a well over the next few weeks, so you may start to like/dislike some of your juices. Probably best to stick to smaller bottles at the moment!

I echo what karma says. I bought similar juices from different suppliers when I first started and was surprised with the amount of variation between them all. I ended up staying with one supplier in the end for ease and I knew what I was going to get!

Five days and counting... You're doing well As Karma says, the "same" juice from different suppliers may not be the same at all. Also, steeping may or may not make a difference... It all depends on the particular juice in question. Sticking with small bottles is a good idea until you find something that tastes good today and tomorrow and next week and the week after that

Further to Karma Dickyg and Sleepyduck comments, i'm pretty sure that RY4 especially varies massively from vendor to vendor. I have had RY4 with Caramel and different fruits for the sweetness. Congratulations on the 5 days btw!

Thanks all. Think I've buggered my taste buds this evening by vaping too many different flavours! They were all tasting a bit yuck! Am having a break and eating a mint kitkat chunky so hopefully they'll taste better in a bit. Bought my other half some RY6 as he's a cigar smoker, so had to have a taste and that one is definitely cigar like!

Does anyone else keep smelling their clothes to see if they stink? Am so used to having a different coat to go outside to smoke in that I can't quite get over the fact that vaping indoors isn't leaving a smell on me.

I was convinced today that I had an aura of coffee/caramel around me when I left the house

Hi, When I smoked I stuck to menthol and stayed with it when I made the switch so can't comment on tobacco flavours BUT the 5 day mark was when I realised I didn't need the stinkies any more. Keep it up and you'll reach the six month mark before you know it. Phil

Another thing to bear in mind is that when you order 5ml samples from, say, VapeEscape, they will have been made up in advance and are therefore ready to vape. Bigger bottles tend to be made to order and so need some extra steeping time.

well done nbee on 5 days. Feels good doesn't it.
I hate steeping. Get some juice you really want and like and then you have to leave it there steeping staring at you and whispering "vape me, vape me, dont leave me in the cupboard with the marmite with my hat off, just vape me please"
So hard to resist.

The same thing happened to me, I bought a small bottle of ry4 flavouring from one vender and loved it, I then ordered 100ml ry4 flavouring from another and the taste was completely different, nowhere near as nice. Lesson learned. Buy small from one vender and then if you like like it, buy large from same vender, not a different one.lol Still using it 10 month down the line. #iwillnotwasteit.

I would also say don't buy large amounts of one flavour and strength. I am not wading through 5 bottles of 30ml at 30mg of different flavours all of which I like but are too strong for me. But I don't want to buy more of the same flavours to weaken them as i have loads of samples to try in different flavours in 24mg.

Well done on going without a smoke for 5 days nbee.
I am finding different brands and flavours vary quite a bit. I'm also finding I prefer PG dominant based over VG dominant. I tend to feel a little sickly when vaping VG dominant liquids and they leave my mouth feeling like it's coated in film which isn't pleasant. It could also come down to taste buds changing too as the sample of Old Holby I bought was lovely. Purchased a 30ml bottle and now there is a strong liquorice flavour that I didn't pick up in the sample and I don't like it.
Don't know if you have already, but buy yourself an atomiser so you can drip test the flavours before filling a carto or clearo with them.
It's all good fun trying the different varieties though isn't it?

Loving all the different flavours but still keep going back to my RY4. Have plenty of cartos but ought to get myself an atomiser. I'm keeping a tab on what I'm spending and it's going to be several weeks before I make any savings on what I spent on the stinkies (still not had any - yippee!!!) Still waiting for my freebies from Royalvapor and about to have a browse of the Alchemists wares. Am very keen to try the elusive Grants Vanilla Custard and have been checking the website daily waiting for them to come back online.
