And I wish I never. £192 spent on vaping since January 28th. That's terrible. No wonder I have no money. Seriously I'm not sure how I've managed to even spend that much. OK, I'm done. There should be no reason to spend money whatsoever. I have over 100ml of juice that I like. Enough spare batteries. Coming tomorrow I should have. Two new evod clearos for 'out and about'. (More discreet than carto tanks, you have to admit) 2x AGR tanks. More cartos. Drip tips and a syringe. Seriously, I'm not looking at new juice. Nope. Not happening. I kinda forgot Sky goes out on the 16th of this month too. I'm screwed.

It is always tempting to jump on the bandwagon of something new, shiny and/or tasty. But you have only spent £10 over what you'd have spent on fags, so chin up. Just knock it on the head for a month or so, the new/shiny/tasty things will still be there when you've got a bit of spare cash again

That's only £10 more than you would've spent on stiinkies lol....and I sure you have some lovely shiny things instead

The initial setup is always going to cost, but do the other side of the equation, how much would you have spent on fag related stuff ?

- the £183.33 from your signature works out that you have only spent £8.67. That's how I'd justify it to myself anyway.

I know, but for some reason it's harder to justify. When I smoked I had to spend that money because that's how much fags cost. End of. How much have I spent on vile juice or extras that I didn't really have to have? But you're right it's not that big of a deal.

Rebuilding your coils and DIY juice would save you a fortune - but like all aspects of any other hobby, there is initial outlay to consider.
Best thing I did was get rid of the "consumables" ( clearos, cartos, heads etc) now it's just wire, mesh, and silica wick and rarely batteries which works out at pennies rather than pounds.
Juice works out at less than a pound to make for 10ml
So the money saved for me generally goes on a new mod or atty. ( but they also get sold, which you can't do as we'll with a used clearo )

Nothing to worry about, start up costs, you have all the kit you need now. Have another "calculate" in a few months time and see the difference

Ive been Vaping since 5th Feb and have spent £195. I've got 4 batteries and 4 clearos with 3 more clearos on the way. Carts from original kit and 2 spare heads for vivi clearo. I seem to have spent a lot on juice - have about 330ml left of which about 50ml I'm not keen on but some of it I have mixed with menthol or vanilla and its ok. Reckon I have 3 months worth As I used to smoke rollies I have spent about double what I would have on Baccy but if I stopped spending now I'd still be about £200 up BUT - I haven't smoked baccy for over 3 weeks now so I think it is worth it My family thought it was a passing fad and are well impressed that I am still vaping and much prefer it. So I'd say - Definately worth the initial spend

I've been vaping since the end of July last year, and whatever it says I've "saved" from not smoking cigs, I'd add at least another £400-£500 on that

£192 in just over a month....yes, that's scary. I felt bad about £25 last week.....
I don't have a banner, as I'll never be in credit vaping over smoking rollies, especially with 2 or 3 trips a year away and coming home with 5 pack.

I was having this conversation with my wife and was just about to agree that I "probably" was spending a bit to much on vaping gear when I suddenly thought hang on.....I'm actually, possibly saving my life here and that's priceless so I can quite happily live with the cost of it. To be fair my wife agreed and has on the whole been very patient and supportive. I think it's easy to lose sight of both things, how much your spending but also what your achieving. If however I'm still spending at the same rate in another two or three months time I might find it hard to justify it to myself never mind my wife! At some point I know I'm going to have to settle on what I like and stick with it and maybe then i'll start saving money as well as my life. Chris.
