Correct regarding the Lambo 4 but it is also regulated which keeps the voltage the same with each vape regardless of the remaining battery power. As the battery drains, the device will keep the voltage consistent until the battery runs low and the device turns itself off. The Lambo also has a resistance checker built in so you can use that to check your atties. 750mah is very low for 18650's or did you mean 1750mah (unless they are 18350's of course)? Either way I doubt they are much cop and you'd see a real benefit from a set of good batteries like www.apolloecigs.co.uk/product-p/ab18650.htm which are IMR or AW IMR or Efest IMR. The ego twist is also regulated so you shouldn't notice any drop in performance as the battery level depletes as with the Lambo 4 ??? As previously said, you can use IMR's in a mech mod but you need to be careful. This site is well worth having a read through www.torchythebatteryboy.com/p/imr-safe-chemistry-batteries.htmlAlready answered in post #97 and #98 Ok have a clear head now and have been doing a bit of research myself. The ZMAX IMR 18350 batteries that I have and have stated they were 18350's several times in previous posts in this thread are not the best, but are not the worse either by a long shot. ZMAX recommend using them and them only in their products, but of course that is open to interpretation. They work fine in the Mini Lambo and I am very happy with them for the price I paid. Most 18350 batteries from what I have seen only go to 850mah max and the AW ones are normally 700mah, so having 750mah is not so low? Of course again whether they actually perform at that MAH is as much down to the individual cell as it is down to the Brand. Granted certain brands consistently out perform lesser brands, but it isn't always the case. From what I gather no 2 cells are exactly the same no matter who the manufacturer. I now also understand what a kick is and it's purpose, sorry I had missed the previous posts but as I say my senses had become dulled and my head was literally pounding at the time, so sorry that I got a bit ratty. I appreciate the time you took and the links provided Simon, but I had probably visited more or less every site out there and my initial post wasn't for where to buy them from as such, more so why I had to purchase certain ones. I should have made that more clearer, so sorry for wasting your time on that one. As yourself and Ash stated the IMR safer chemistry ones should be fine to use as long as I keep my wits about me, but I also gather that's the rule in general for any battery, protected or not. i.e. no battery is completely safe as it's all down to how you treat them and the individual cell. Anyway to cut to the chase, I am going to order a protected AW 18650 & AW IMR 18350(not protected, but as I now understand not such an issue used correctly) from ukecigstore and collect them in person at the meet on Saturday. 20% off and no postage costs makes them a decent buy. Electronics has never been my forte, which is why I doubt I'll ever get into rebuildable atomisers as it's far to fiddly for someone like me, I'd be losing the little screws and bits and bobs in no time. I struggle enough with my sausage fingers tying a size 2 hook with 15lb line, let alone trying to coil an atty . Cheers guys you really were a great help.

They should be safe Jeff. I always steer clear of anything that has FIRE in the makers name as there have been issues with some of the batteries that do that. I would be wary of the 1200mah claim as well. These have been about a while. Personally I would want to see some data on them. Anything that claims above 900mah for an 18350 battery is suspicious. Just had a quick look round the web and it seems under test, they dont even get up to 900mah www.torchythebatteryboy.com/p/18350-17670-16340-14500-10440-batteries.htmljeffc

Thanks Robby, I have not wasted my money. On a separate topic: Why dont you send `Min` some photo`s of the "copper" Vamo modification you are completing. For him to consider as his V3 of the Vamo. Any thing is better than that "pigs penis" he is considering. I for one would buy your copper design, especially if it has a coating to stop any tarnishing. thanks. jeffc

lolol at the pig`s penis lolol. I did actually send him a pic of it and he loved it, thought it was BEAUTIFUL lol. AAAAND, he did take it to the factory lol, not sure of any response from them, but I agree, a copper or brass vamo properly protected to stop the tarnishing would be fantastic. When it comes down to it, it is a chrome vamo before the final stage of adding the chrome plate, with a few adornments of 22mm plumbing olives and a lot of buffing. The buffing was only really necessary because it is so hard to get the chrome layer off without marking the copper layer and going through to the brass. It would sell like warm bread jeffc

Looks like Vamo may get his 1 and only order for V3 off `Spikey`. Could in future become a `rare` collectors item (only 1 ever made production run). But everyone has differing choices/desires/designs. Glad my glasses are up to date, giving me a clear precise image. jeffc
