JD Wetherspoons and vaping

JD Wetherspoons have had a rethink on the use of e-cigs in their pubs. They discussed e-cigs at a recent weekly operations meeting thanks to Jim (Durinthiam) emailing the Company Secretary.

They are;


'Currently allowing Vaping in the south west region as a "trial" to judge impact on operations and customer perceptions - Jim'


Any vapers in the South West that wish to help JD Wetherspoons come to a positive conclusion about vaping, please pop along to your nearest Spoons with your kit and help educate their clientelle as to what e-cigs are all about.

If any forum can organise SW Wethers Vaping Meets, then it is this one

but if they do lift the ban, would that include North of the border too?

I vape in every pub i drink in.I know which ones dont mind and those that do, i draw on it,hold the vape in for about 10 seconds then when you exhale hardly any vapour comes out,they cannot object to anyone sucking on a pen like object.
But then again i am naughty.

I had a couple of sneaky vapes in tesco last night in the freezer isle if you open a freezer an blow it in it looks like it's your breath coz it's cold

i had a few wee sneaky vapes in the B&B we stayed in the other night...i'd shown the owner my GGTB and told him the vapour didn't linger, etc, but he was like 'oh, i don't know, if anyone complains is the thing' so a bit of stealth vaping was necessary...

out of interest, has anyone used one of the 'stealth juices'?

I've vaped in two of our local Wetherspoons, I've done it deliberately because I know they've got the ban! I did refrain from vaping in the cinema last night thought, didn't think the vape would go very well over the screen!
