Hi everyone, I've been vaping for a couple of months now (still having the odd stinky, but want to dump them all together). I started with a pair of Ritchy ERAs which you need to keep buying cartomisers for. I'm now ready to move onto a more serious unit, but am flummoxed as to which one to choose. I've read a lot of info here, but a lot of the jargon enters my brain as "blah, blah, blah" - my problem, not the posters'! I'm looking at this ... ecigforlife.com.au/ego-flagship-complete-twin-set-with-lcd-screen/this ... ecigforlife.com.au/ego-ultimate-complete-twin-set-pass-through-battery-upgrade/and leaning towards this ... ecigforlife.com.au/ego-v-v-starter-twin-kit-with-easy-click-variable-voltage-adjustment/Adjustable voltages, rebuildable clearomisers etc mean very little to me. Basically, I want to be able to charge it up, fill it with juice and go. I'd really appreciate any advice about the units I'm looking at. Low, to no maintenance is what I want, without compromising the vape quality. Help!!! Thanks a million, Margie

Hi Freestyler, Just had a look, and it looks good, but no shipping option to Australia. Will see if I can find a retailer here. Thanks for the advice, though, I really appreciate it. Margie

Hello Maggie, welcome to AAEC?
What's the situation with vaping in Australia? Do you have local vendors?

A warm welcome to you Margie and congratulations. The last I read about the ecig situation in Oz, was that you could buy eliquid containing nicotine from overseas, but Vendors in the country couldn't sell it? Is that still so?

For low maintenance get a tank to put around your cartos and a puncture tool.

Welcome Artfunk Always interesting to see how laws (don't) work. Lots of people do move very happily on to CE/Ego kits, so I think your supplier would be OK. The battery version they have doesn't seem to be on sale here, but you can get a version without the LED cheaper - for instance www.evape.co.uk/electronic-cigarette-starter-kits/ce6-rebuildable-electronic-cigarette-starter-kit.html. Cheaper still if you settle for a CE4 e.g. www.electronics-cigarette.co.uk/product/ego-t_clearomizer_kit Personally I wouldn't pay for a puff counter, but the battery life indicator is worth a a few £ or $, as is the wall charger (if you don't already have one - any USB wall charger - e.g. iphone - seems to work OK here). Someone else would have to tell you if the CE6 is worth the extra money. I guess that you'll need to email any UK supplier before ordering to check postage cost and make sure that they are happy with Aussie laws. It is probably worth a bit to have a supplier who knows what they are doing about that.

Thanks for all the advice.
As to the e-cig situation here in Aus, it isn't legal for vendors to sell products containing nicotine, however, some sellers will "give" you some nicotine in your juices if you have a quiet chat to them when you make your purchase. Others point you to China. I haven't looked into buying nic juices from China yet, but it's something I'll do soon. Anything to keep costs down.
I spoke to a vendor today and he recommended the Innokin iTaste so I ordered one. I want a Riva 1100 but can't find a vendor in Aus who sells them. Will look overseas and see if I can find one that doesn't have exorbitant shipping. My Innokin should arrive tomorrow, so that should keep me sorted in the short term and I'll be able to do some shopping around.
No doubt I'll be back soon with more questions. It's such a lovely community here!

After seeing and vaping your innokin you may not want the riva as that would be a step backwards really unless you buy the riva kit for backups or to use while innokin is charging although i think the innokin is a passthrough. I love the look of the innokin. What colour did you get?
