It came today. Its very rope like and very stiff. When you bend it it almost stays that way, its also thick to compared to the normal 3mm wick I've been buying. Feeling very rough at the moment with a cold so will try it out tomorrow maybe.

I find it makes it easier for wrapping wire round Si, the firmness of the Ekowool.

Hope you feel better soon. I had the lurgy last week, gone in a couple of days, unlike when I smoked. Weeks colds used to take to shake off.

I've had more colds since I gave up smoking than I've ever had. 4 SInce November! They all lasted ages.

When I smoked I only had 1 cold a year, 2 if I was unlucky. I think the fags killed off cold bugs before they has the chance to develop, either that or I've just been incredibly unlucky.

I havent got a tank rebuidable, But do you think it could take a dressmakers pin down the centre to make it stiffer so it could possibly replace a mesh wick.

Ive got a feeling it will slacken up once its juiced up, its something for you to conciser as you re recuperate and keep us in suspense.

Iv some Irish cream here, tastes very good, you should treat yourself to a splash of the real thing, all ways helps with a cold, wrap up and get well soon.

Too many Perp, way too many. Gawd knows why my immune system is shot though. Its my daughter that brings them home from school so she's broke too lol.

When I smoked and got a cold I must say I suffered badly, chest infections like you and occasionally bronchitis. I didn't have such a mega blocked nose each time though like recently. I'm properly fed up with it. I'm hoping its gone by the time I have my job interview next Thursday, sooner would be better though.

I got mine from ecig wizaed and its next to useless, all frayed and unravels as soon as you cut it. It wasn't even in a bag just shoved lose in an A4 envelope along with about five other things I ordered. About 2 inches of the 2mm length was dirty black. Only ordered from them twice and been disappointed twice.

Get some Vitamin C and Echinacea down you Si.

It could take a knitting needle I reckon lol.

I think it will be a case of trying it in my Igo-L, its too thick for anything else which is strange because the normal 3mm silica wick and Ekowool will fit in a Vivi Nova but there is no way this so called 3mm stuff will fit in anything including my Aga-T2. I've not tried it, I can tell just from looking at it.

Had some arrive from ECW yesterday.  Mine seems OK, in a bag and clean.  I would deffo have a word, they are usually much better than that.

Hmm. Mine came loose as well, which i.m.o. is a bit odd....I mean, it's not like we are going to wash it before using it?

As for unraveling, I'll find out. I unravel my nova/Ce5 wicks anyway and just leave the bit inside the coil "solid"... I might have a crack at doing 3 or 4 later and see/test.
