Yes there is Lee, Swinfen Hall. I used to do a visit there to a lifer in my days as a Youth offending worker. There's a funny story attached to that but I won't go into it now!

lee the cinimas still there we now have 2 one cinima in the point and one in the xscape.And i dont think there is any more nightclubs there anymore.I know gala bingo is still there but most of my night life when i used to go out was over at the xscape.

From the look of it it's a straight run, but I'm no train expert! It's just over 1.25 mins or something like that, so far easier than driving and I would think far cheaper.

Fingers crossed I've been able to secure a lift to this . . . as it would be blooming lovely to meet up with you all.

Just a thought, but I do wonder if we ought to offer some sort of cash donation from AllAbout members ( for those that are able ) to the Vapefest fund as Cat from UKV has organised all this, if there is going to be a number of us . . . I'd hate to take advantage in any way.

Just realised I've put the train station in Lichfield, there's a train station in Tamworth LOL. Getting my Lichfield Street muddled with Lichfield town

I might manage, but it's a 5hr drive

priced trains, but it's £150 return for 2, with 4 changes from Glasgow in August, which is as far in advance as it would go...

I really want to get to this, the last one looked brill. Hopefully I'll have a car by then so I'll be able to drive down. (If the other half let's me!)

The show is scheduled to start at 9pm... there is a chat attached to the live broadcast, but it's not compulsory to use it - that said, we expect a few questions will emerge tonight, so get in there early - it actually filled last night! We're increasing capacity even as I type, but whether it'll take by then or not remains to be seen...
