Well done Bucko - so impressed (Cant even get my quote in a box !!!) Bucko said - QUOTE "I no longer have to suck like a vampire to get a draw, I've not changed the batteries yet, nearly a full day and still going strong" UNQUOTE The "vampire suck" has bells not only ringing, but clanging loudly in my head -that's SO SO true for me too. And the battery life ....... !!! I've got 4 e cigs constantly on the go & boggle at which carts need topping up! or is it the battery needs charging! - so to have ONE that lasts all day...........wow! Wondering now if I'd struggle less with one of these SD things ??? You went onto it quite quickly Bucko. As I'm a determined but nevertheless "problem member" of this forum ('cause I sure haven't "taken easily" to vaping!!) do you think it still might be worth the outlay. In which case, is it as confusing as the 901 & 510 I bought that seemed to come by lots of different names? How do you know about all the extra bits to buy? It's all a bit - this bit will fit that bit - for me! I hate it when it gets SO technical -- nuff to put a gal right off!

Lolli, while i'd balk at spending megabucks on a SD, i'd say the current 2 for 1 deal is defo worth the outlay if you want to come in with me, i'd more or less decided i was gonna go for it anyway, in the hope that either my dad or my elder son would take the other one... As i have a 901 and so have you, we'd get the 901 atomiser fitting one (2,lol) apart from the atomisers, which you'll already have, the only extra you need for it are batteries & a charger, think the offer is on till 5th March, so have a think & let me know...

Hi Lolli, They're easier to use than the normal e-cigs, as, to quote from the site, they 'just work'. The 2 SD's I have, I'm using one for menthol, and one for tobacco flavours, no faffing about switching carts. Still not changed the batteries, been going 2 days now, oh the luxury hehe. All you gotta do is choose the type of SD version you prefer (510, 901 or classic), and the matching spares kit to go with it. You get some free carts and e-juice when you order both items together. It's a bit of a pull-out money wise, bout £81 all in, but it's a bargain compared to the other big battery mods out there IMO. The spares are cheap, 4 batteries are only a fiver and a spare charger is a fiver. Now i've made the switch, I know I'd be mortified if one of the SD's broke and i had to go back to the normal 510 e-cig. So for that reason i'm glad of the 2 for 1 offer, as it gives you a bit of peace of mind, as well as being convenient. For me, the headache of E-cigs has been removed, the Screwdriver has simplified everything. here's the link...as doctor Nike said ..just do it www.cavecom.com/screwdriver/shop/shopindex.htm

Eh, Bucky..? If they're £39.95 for 2 bodies, and we've already got the atomisers, carts & juice.....thats it, apart from the batteries & charger, or am i missing something so, in other words, £20 for the SD each, plus a tenner for batts & charger..? eeeek

Lol, don't despair If you already have the spares, then yeah, but you still gotta stick £6-7 postage on top, making it about £45 all in just for the bodies...Bodies, sounds macabre lol. I was including the spares pack, which is £34-99. Making it £81 all in. If you're going halves, it'd be pretty pointless getting the spares pack from the SD site, as you'd only have one charger. so better to do it your way

Ooh lots of questions Very tired but will try to answer all Lilac both your links for SD batteries & charger are fine. Another even cheaper charger (the same one that Trog sells) is the single 16340 nano charger : www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.998Lolli, though as Bucko says, it is easier to buy everything from Trog's website www.cavecom.com/screwdriver/shop/shopindex.htm But so much cheaper to buy your batteries & charger from deal extreme. However, it can take up to a couple of weeks before they get to you. No, you can't use "normal" batteries. They have to be Lithium (keeping it as simple as possible here as there are others) As for the "life" of the SD, it's just a battery holder, very much in the same way as a torch is (lol in fact the SD was originally a modified torch). So a good quality torch lasts a long time & all you need to do is replace the batteries.

Hi Chrissie crossed posts with you. Gonna join you in some "falling over juice"

Lilac thats cool - so long as I can put it together n smoke or vape it I'm happy. Hope we don't need UK adapter thingies! Why can't they make them with a nice normal three pin plug on the end Y'know Chrissie they're expensive for battery holders!! lol
