How would I ease it up, put something in the hole in the middle of it? It isn't solid like the pin on the charger.

OK, I got my tool kit out and lifted both pins, still a solid green light on the charger. So I guess I have a duff charger? Guess that is me screwed for the weekend Thanks for the advice everyone. The video was helpful, thanks...

How would I ease it up, put something in the hole in the middle of it? It isn't solid like the pin on the charger. Get a very small flat head screwdriver and just push against the sides of the pin in a upward motion. Be very gentle, it might only need nudging up by half of a mil.

"Satisfaction Guaranty"
They can't spell very well can they...
See if you can get it working over the weekend and take it back Monday...asking for a refund maybe?
Certain aspects of their site suggest they are jumping on the bandwagon purely for the money. Strange opening hours too.

I believe it's a franchise of a German company.

There should be no 'if's' If goods are not fit for purpose then a refund is the customer's right! You don't have to accept a replacement! BTW upright, sorry your first kit has not been a success, but you've found us now

take it back on monday and ask for your money back...order one from a decent uk supplier and that will save you about 70% and you will have it by tuesday I reckon

That's what I was just thinking...surely something only a few days old is guaranteed a refund? Regardless of their own policies, there are laws. I don't claim to know whats what in this field, but I would certainly expect you to be protected by some law when asking for a refund.

I don't think I want a replacement really, it looks like I could do much better for that price. I don't really trust the goods when they are not working so soon after buying, especially two of them. I suppose if it is just the charger it isn't so much of a problem (apart from paying over twice as much as it is worth), but if it is the actual devices I will definitely be looking for a refund. This will teach me to do my research and not impulse buy things!
