Tried a new LR Atomiser yesterday along with unused cartridge and fully charged battery ,Got a good strong vape for 20 seconds or so then put ecig down to do something .On return to vape it was found Atomiser had packed in - how strange .Prob only about 3/4 puffs out of a new atomiser before it gave up the ghost.

No Birdy, they should last longer than that. It does happen ocassionally though. I'm sure if you contact the supplier, it will be changed.
Obviously, check the battery and everything first.

Birdy, out of interest, was it a 901LR? If so, they may have come from the same manufacturer as the dodgy last lot we got in the group order from Eastmall.

I use Liberty Flights (SLB) LR901s - apart from one which died after a day, the others have all lasted a very long time (40ml of juice or more).

It was a 510 , Cant make my mind up wether to get another starter kit because knowing my luck the charger lead will pack in or both batteries on same day .By getting a complete starter kit it would mean having spares of everything - batteries are 1100 s so probably will not be bettered short term as i think from reading the kits were going out with 650 batteries not that long ago.

I think they still do ship with 650mAh, you have a choice nowadays. If you can afford it, it would be a good idea to get another starter kit - but atties are the weakest link, usually. You just never know whether an atty will last half a day or a month - what bad luck! scylla

Birdy, you have done the right thing It's always a good idea to have spares of everything including chargers & another starter kit usually works out cheaper than buying everything separately.

Yes Chrissie and what price do you put on peace of mind - I had about 5 different kits of the small ecig (the one from sunday markets that looks like a normal cig) and over the 20 or so weeks they all packed in some lasting a week and others lasting a couple of months .Packs of 10 flavour filters cost me £5 at the start then i got supplier to reduce to 5 packs for £20 and then i found suppliers at £3 per 10 pack .So this type of vaping is dirt cheap in comparison and the long lasting charge with these 510 1100 batteries is super - the small ecigs were constantly on charge .

Yet another LR atty bites the dust - are there any superior quality jobbies out there ? Less than a month and 2 goosed the second only lasted hours rather than days also.

O dear Birdy, you are having rotten luck - I'd cetainly contact your Supplier to see if they will exchange the duff ones for you. I'm having great success with the Cisco 2omh 510 LR, sadly Toby is out of stock at present and again reports have been mixed from other vapers who have used them as to their longevity. Toby does however stock this 2omh . . . www.ivapour-elixir.co.uk/atomisers/low-resistance-atomisers/510-low-resistance-atomiser-3.htmlI did have to chuckle to myself at your 15 bottles of ejuice!
