Hi, I've been vaping for three weeks and I'm loving it. After a bit of experimentation I'm using clearomizers with great liquids from Paradise Vapes (saw the recommendations on the forum). I was smoking 40 B&H a day (for nearly 30 years) and I'm now down to two first thing in the morning. I'm struggling to get rid of those two but strangely; vaping seems too harsh in the morning, or is that an excuse - I don't know?
Is it usual to stay on a few cigarettes a day for a while? Any tips for that early morning craving and getting rid of cigarettes altogether?
I've heard and seen a lot about carto tanks and I'm interested in trying them, where's the best place to start?
Thanks for letting me join the forum - it's already been really helpful over the past few weeks.
Oh and one top tip from me for newbies like myself - cinnamon and spiced liquids can eat clearomisers It took me a Vivi Nova and an I'M Bomb to figure it out.

Hello and phiant101If you've cut down from 40 a day to 2 in the morning you're doing great It can take a while to settle on the best set up and e-juice for yourself, so don't worry about still smoking a couple in the early days! Have you tried cartos yet? A carto tank is just really a way of keeping the carto fed with juice!

Hello & welcome phiant101 Yes, it's more than normal to stay on a few cigs a day for a while It's one of the best things about e-cigs - you aren't under any pressure at all, just use them as a replacement to real cigs as much as you want to.

I had trouble saying goodbye to the first few of the day. Terribly hard. I still vape like a mad man and drink too much caffeine in the morning. I have been on carto tanks recently. My favourite is the AGR I got from Vape Gear.

Hi phiant101 and a big vapey Wow, well done you you've gone from 40 cigs down to a measly 2, that's excellent, good on you. There's nothing written in stone about vaping and smoking cigs, some people take days, weeks, even months to say Tease-smileyto stinkie cigs. You need to just go with the flow, 2 isn't bad is it?? With the morning vape, maybe take lighter draws, or go for a nice mellow juice, less nic strength and have that just as your morning one?

Thanks for all of the advice guys, really helpful.
The carto tanks look a bit complicated, do you know if there are any that come ready to use?

Hi Phiant and a warm welcome. Well done you, for cutting down by so much. 38 x 7 = 496 no 38 x 365 divided by 12 = 573992 no 38 x 12 x 52 then take away the first number you thought of? ??? ??? Blimey, that loads of money saved.
