Hi all, i'm very new to vaping and have hit a problem i'm hoping someone here can help with. After reading some great advice here i decided to buy a blister pack and some juice to begin with, to see if it might help me give up the ciggies.
It arrived fully charged so i filled it up yesterday and took around 5/6 draws from it, when i tried it again later i got nothing from it. I looked for advice here and thought i may have screwed the battery on too tight so i tried lifting the centre pin, but still got nothing.
The battery turns on and off with 5 clicks, and if i use the battery from my tesco e cig, i can take a draw from it so i must have filled it correctly, so is it something to do with the connection/firing?
Any advice would be most helpful
Thanks

Hi Lauren and welcome. Apart form the battery pin which is a very common problem the only other thing I can think of is to clean the bottom of the clearo and the battery pin in case there's been a juice leak into the battery connector.
Also check that the battery is actually fully charged and also if you have another clearo or carto try that on the battery.
I know my Evods are a bit flaky at connecting sometimes and they can just stop working mid-draw unless I give them a little tweak.
Hope someone else can help you soon.

Hi Lauren, try your Tesco Cartridge on the ecig battery, if it fits, don't force it. If it works then there's a connection problem, if it does not work there may be aproblem with the battery.
Good luck!

Hi Kibbster, thanks for your advice.
I did have a juice leak when i unscrewed the wrong part whilst the battery was still attached ???
As i said i am very new to all this, so dont understand all the terms used and how it all works yet. I have tried cleaning the pin and connector with dry kitchen towel but it hasn't helped.

lauren Sorry you've had this trouble. Sounds like a battery problem to me. Is it charging?

Hi Lauren and welcome. It could be the same thing that happened to my battery, the lights on but no one is in. It does sound like a faulty battery, or a heavy juice leak that's caused the battery to fault. Have you got a spare battery to tide you over? Just from where I am writing this I can't see your orig post.

If juice is the problem on the connectors you'll need more than dry kitchen roll to clean them! Alcohol swabs are good, but I'm guessing you won't have any Some neat vodka on a cotton bud would be worth a try

Hi DiscoDes, thank you for your advice. I tried the cartridge with the e cig battery and it doesn't work Sorry Im trying to understand what you have tried......... Did the cartridge from your Tesco E-cig fit the blister pack battery? And VERY IMPORTANT have you made sure your blister pack battery is charged? If you did charge it, did you wait until the charger light went green? If you have not charged it yet, please do, it will take 3 - 4 hours.

Hi everyone, thanks for the warm welcome!! Sry i'm having a problem using quotes in posts but that's a whole new problem lol. Siffy - The battery turns on and off after 5 clicks so i'm not sure if its a connection problem. Tks for asking if i have a spare battery, i have my motives cig which isn't great but it gets me by. DiscoDes - The tesco cartridge fits onto the blister pack battery and doesn't work with that either. I put the battery on charge when it arrived in the blister pack and the light was already green so i presumed it was already fully charged.

Hi and welcome .. If I have this right the tank worked on the battery then died ... so you put it on the tesco battery and it worked .... I would charge the new blister battery fully as suggested by DiscoDes and go from there. Sometimes If you screw the battery on the charger and plug it in it will stay green ... just try un-screwing it a little whiles it is plugged in to the charger not by much just enough to break the connection and then screw it back up

Hi pegasus, thank you.
I have just tried what you suggested and the light still stays green. Do you know if the blister pack batteries would normally arrive fully charged? Also when the battery IS charging would the led light on the battery be on because mine is off when i put it on charge.
