I have to agree with Perp, this has been a very interesting discussion. Obviously there are some very intelligent and opinionated people on here and it's nice that we can have a civilised debate with each other.
I can understand why the people who are involved in the politics of the situation have to all stand united and keep to the same story, but thinking that you can make everyone sing the same tune is just unrealistic.
As this thread shows opinions on this matter are in abundance and vary greatly, we stand united behind one cause to keep e-cigs on the market but beyond that we vary greatly. It would be a boring world if we all just rolled over and agreed with each other.

If i took to injecting myself with nicotine i would still have quit smoking.
Rugby and football are both played with balls. The balls are totally different shapes. They are totally different games.
I'm sorry, actually i'm not, but i have quit smoking......bwah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
You can call it whatever you want. And so can i.

This thread as been a very interesting read. I agree with Del, I gave up smoking a year ago. Pubs don't see vaping as smoking, my fostering agency doesn't see vaping as smoking, my doctor agrees that I am now a none smoker, therefore I am a none smoker.

My doc is thrilled to bits I'm off the tobacco and vaping. I've tried all the strong NRT known to woman and it just made me loopy..
at least this way I'M in control of the nicotine...
I vape on the bus - everywhere bar Starbucks to date...

Excellent post Igetcha. Was only thinking the same thing yesterday ie, how much we were encouraged to let the MHRA know we had quit smoking using e-cigs. So if we insist folks can't use the quit word now, it would be the equivalent of locking the door after the horse has bolted.

we all know how these help the user either reduce or remove tobacco smoking from their lives and the main reason we cant advertise this fact is that the goverment would lose 17b a year from cigeratte tax.
Now this new spray priced at £27.99 from nocirette provides the nicotine hit in a vapor format and is all over the Tv and news papers so whats the differance....
all we can do is conform at this point what choice do we have the powers that be stop us and google cant understand the differance between a tobacco cigarette and a electronic cigarette wonder why that is.....
Just look at Canada whats happend there

I saw these in my Tesco in Southampton too. I asked if they did rechargeable ones but the lady at the counter told me they only did disposables. On the Nicolites website they have a store locator www.nicolites.co.uk/store-locator/ apparently there are quite a few tescos with these.

Hi Guys, I am actually writing on behalf of Nicolites (the e-cig you are now discussing).
I thought I better join in to clarify a few things with regards to our trial with Tesco. I will work my way through the posts and try to respond to questions as soon as I can.
Firstly thank you for the great comments/feedback we have had in supporting this.
My name is Birju by the way!
