Hi folks, They have decided to try chemo. Saw the docs understudy today and have got another appointment to see the top man on Wednesday. Then it's another appointment to see the chemo nurses next Monday when they will give me a start date. It will be two lots of two sessions over six weeks and then another CT scan to see what, if anything, has happened. Hurry up and wait. Been here before. Phil

A busy week ahead for you, Phil, but at least you know now, so I hope your chemo start date is very soon.

Hi, Something good has happened due to my cancer. Went to our archery club yesterday and my son turned up with an EGO/510 setup and told me that he had only smoked two stinkies since Friday. He did give cigalikes a go this time last year but didn't get on with them because they gave him a sore throat. Phil

Sending you positive thoughts Phil and I hope your appointment today gives you a start date for treatment ASAP. Great news about your son and what a positive reaction to such scary news. Sounds like you have a very supportive family there. Big hugs

Hi folks, Should have mentioned earlier, my chemo starts two week today 2nd Sept. Had a good chat with the chemo nurse and she made me feel a lot easier about the process. Everything crossed until then. Phil

My nan was in hospital a while ago & we got her one of those cig-a-like ones. She asked the nurses if she could use it & they encouraged it to be honest. If I'm ever in the hospital they won't be able to see for the steam haha

Hi folks, just had my first course of chemo and everything seems OK so far. I just wish there had been someone there with a camera, drip in one hand and my ecig in the other. They were fine with it but I semi stealth vaped and kept the clouds to a minimum. Phil

Pleased #1 chemo is now under your belt, Phil. Rather good that you could vape whilst getting your treatment too! Hope your son is still going OK with his vaping.
