have you tried link£1.49 for 10ml plus a paltry P&P sum. As for home brewing, you should have a look at the Mixology section on this forum, not all mad scientists you know.LOL

Are we talking about rubber gloves or special nicotine ones?

Just normal rubber gloves are fine, you can buy boxes of nice thin ones in the supermarket (at least you can here) Cappella flavour drops are flavours yes. Personally I prefer other brands because the flavours are stronger, but if you are ordering from there anyway then might as well get some to try When I get new flavours to try I tend to do trial mixes at : F'arts 5%, DV 10% and Capella 15% if that gives you a kind of bench mark

I suppose you get what you pay for. The mixology section is now my number one reading thread right now!

The nic base I am using atm is from LF (got it ages ago, but I mix so weak that the stuff lasts forever ) There are a lot of UK sources, but many of them don't post to Denmark so I am not up to date with who has and who hasn't (plus I have enough to last years already ) I have some more that I got in 28vapeslater's sale, but that is 7.2%, she doesn't stock it anymore, and atm I only use it for tweeking hubby's nic level

Timbo I have some Capella bubble gum I'm happy to send you if you PM me your address, for some reason I can't taste the damn stuff (I am weird!) If you want it I can throw in a few other rejects, none of them are very old, and I would be glad to clear the space. It would give you something to play with in the beginning I used to mix 0 nic mixes just to test a flavour (penny pinching I know) Nicotine does tend to change a mix slightly, but at least you can get a sense of YUCK or mmmm, worth working with and bin the Yuck ones without feeling like you are throwing any real money away

That covers the basics, yes. If you want to get serious about DIY juice, you'll find it's *much* cheaper to buy your ingredients in bulk: think in terms of buying PG, VG and probably nic base by the litre. One of each of those should last you a good long while. I wouldn't buy huge quantities of any particular flavour until you're sure it's something you can work with and you'll use a lot. It looks like a lot of outlay at the beginning, but once you have the ingredients in stock, you can mix perfectly good juice to your exact taste for £1 for 10ml, at most. And there's no reason why you should ever get bored with your juice, ever again.

Do you just look at a recipe and buy the ingredients?! It is amazing what you can do, there are some great recipes in the Mixology section :-) Do you measure the percentages with the syringe?

I'd get a kit a kit to start with, makes life simpler and you can see if it's for you then Timbo: www.thealchemistscupboard.co.uk/product/gold%20diy%20mixing%20kitwww.thealchemistscupboard.co.uk/product/mixing%20kitBoth of those kits come with some flavourings, so maybe experiment with them first?

A lot of people use syringes, personally I much prefer pipettes. These days I tend to drop the actual flavours, saves washing stuff But that is after mixing for a while and getting to know what I can get away with and what I can't. I am not too fussed if the nic is a little off (with a base of 0.54% adding 10% flavour or 2% does mean a different level of nic, but for me at least ... life is too short whether it makes more difference at higher levels I will leave to people who use higher levels) In the beginning I never had enough bottles for all my experiments. Since things need to steep, it is worth making sure you have enough bottle hanging about to cope. I guess it depends on personality, I don't follow other peoples recipes, I prefer to mess about on my own. I've always cooked like that as well. I have about 12 mixes I use regularly, I know how many drops of each flavour I add to a 30ml bottle, and then fill with base (I'm probably putting more than 30ml in because the bottles hold slightly more, but again so long as it works idc really) It takes me minutes to mix, and I save a fortune. I have wasted some money on flavours in my learning curve, and some recipes have taken me some time to pin down, meaning I've binned some mixes, but in the scheme of things it isn't a lot. Currently I am refining my Earl Grey recipe to one I can share, which is a fun project. I started the whole thing by steeping real earl grey tea, but that wasn't enough. It also gunks up the coil, even when it is only a small% of an overall mix. It's amazing how taking out one component can change the other parts of the recipe considerably. I was using 10% of F'arts green tea, but am now down to that being only2% since I started using F'arts black tea as well. It's steeping atm, so I still don't know if I have finally hit the sweet spot, but at least the rejects are vapable while I wait
