Ahh I see, I get it now. So it's mixed the pv/pg upalready for you at 50/50. What a great idea! Am just a bit put off as I wasn't to keen on their pre mixed juice. No doubt that was just my taste buds playing up. Do you find the base has a back ground taste (the links you sent) or is the base totally none taste what so ever? So obviously if I use this base it would be 50/50 only so maybe if I purchased a bottle of Bitextra just in case it lacks throat hit that I like. I also saw 28 vapes later do starter kits, pippets and have a very varied range of concentrates. I see a few recipes recommend different concentrates in a single recipe. As you can see I am deffo going to jump in just not sure on who's kit to purchase.

hi siffy, good luck with your journey into mixing, as others have already said with high PG mixes you should not need to thin the liquid down however if you move onto a higher VG ratio you may need to thin this down, i use PG Nic base and most flavourings are in PG too i get my VG from boots and just dilute it down with 5 to 10% Vodka, i would advise you to avoid distilled/Deionised water from the carshop as there have been issues reported with them, lots of info on the mixing board, once again good luck, you'll rarely buy ready made again

siffy I find the base fine! As it's 50/50 mix, if you are using concentrates that need to be added at 20% and most concentrates are PG based you'll end up with around 70/30 pg/vg as your final mix so may not need anything else for throat hit. Keep you first few mixes simple, try using just one flavour until you get the hang of things

Gosh I think I get it now. So like you say 50/50 is a useful place to start.

Do I just google planet of the vapes e juice calculator, I embarrass myself at my lack of apps knowledge. I am thinking of getting the bits that Karma and dinamic22 suggested and getting my concentrates from 28vapes later. It just seems there lots of concentrate choice and the three fart items I want to purchase for one postage price. Then I think just get the lot from there and have done with it. What would you do? I'm suprised I got it tbh I honestly don't normally as my exam results sadly show. Maybe Karma should have been my teacher at school..lol

Just googled it and here it is play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.potv.ejuicecalc&hl=en_GB&referrer=utm_source%3Dgoogle%26utm_medium%3Dorganic%26utm_term%3Dpotv+ejuice+calculator but that is for android so if you have an i pad im not sure it is on there. Have a nosey and see. Personally i would get the flavours from 28vapeslater. Best choice on the net and carrie is always on here so any questions would be answered very quickly. She has also just started bulk ordering so the more you buy the cheaper it gets. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2

If you don't have any luck finding the other one, for my kindle I found an app called eLiquid Recipe Manager Lite which I downloaded free.

Yes my gut tells me 28 vapes so I am going down that route. Thanks for all your help.

I think the calculator Nick has created is compatible with the Ipad and Android phones Siffy. It's also very straightforward to use. dot1ml.com/

I am looking forward to payday now so I can place my order. Am just wondering what you do when your kit arrives. Do you make just one single 5ml of it and wait two weeks to see if it's ok, in case it's naff. Or do say make 4 or 5 10ml bottles of it. I imagine it must take a good few months to build up the supplies what with the 2 week wait. So I understand more cost to keep stock of pre made juice while waiting on diy to be ready. Pretend it's you again Mandy how did you first start?

Knowing what I know now, I'd mix up 4-6 x 5ml samples in a 10ml bottle to give myself some ' tweaking ' room if needs be. Make a couple of flavours that will be good to go in a couple of days, as it's nice to test the results of your experiments, sooner rather than later. I think anyway. The others I'd set aside and forget about for a couple of weeks . . . whilst you plan what else you're going to mix as you've been bitten by the mixing bug.
