Does every other charger that has some mishap get a newspaper article written about it, I doubt that.  Re-enforces not leaving anything charging overnight . . . . |

As Perps has said any battery left charging overnight could explode but the tabloids only ever pick up on the e-cig connection. Rechargeable torch battery explodes .. not worth getting out of bed for!  |

Actually, to be fair, the Daily Fail did run a piece about exploding Apple chargers... then another to mask the fact they'd called it an official one when it turned out to be a clone.
