Hiya and preston234Are we sitting comfortably, good then allow me to start..LOL An "EGO" battery is a generic name for a commonly used starter battery..A "Clearomiser" is the unit that screws on top of the battery and contains the e juice and the bit that vaporises it. The advantages over your cartomiser setup are, (1) greater control of power settings(what power battery you buy) (2) greater choise and control of which flavour you choose and of course (3) given both of these, a much better/satisfying vaping experiance. I would suggest you have a look around afew sites listed on this forum, but if you need advice on anything vaping, just ask..We all had to start somewhere...after all, if you don't ask how will you find out?

Hi, does anyone get insomnia from ecigarettes? I have always been someone who can get by with 5 hours a night for about 2 weeks and then I will just die and sleep for 18 hours straight .... but I haven't seen any significant change in my sleeping pattern since beginning vaping.

My sleep went bonkers for about 4-6 weeks preston234, and I was having crazy arse dreams as well some really weird stuff! I was vaping like a trooper though on 18mg (1.8%) and I found that as I got used to it I settled down a bit, I found switching down to 12mg helped in the end. Now I'm using 15mg but I vape a lot less and I'm sleeping reasonably well these days. Welcome to AAEC by the way, did you bring your wallet?

Welcome to you Preston. My sleeping has actually improved since vaping, I used to wake up 3 or 4 times in the night, get up and go out for a cigarette. Which I don't do at all now . . . and switching to decaff coffee, that's helped with the number of cups I drink in a day.

I used to wake up several times during the night gasping for breath And guess what, I then used to smoke a cigarette to help me get back to sleep I just can hardly believe how bad it was & yet I still continued smoking very heavily until I got my first e-cig.
