Gah! 7am seems like a long way away but won't be when my alarm goes off at 5am tomorrow ... my eldest was delivered at Southmead... brilliant experience. Was due to witness the birth and was dressed in a gown etc and smoking like crazy in the waiting room, people confusing me with a doctor and all. Then got kicked out as the mother had to have a C section. The staff were absolutely great, as I'm sure they will be with you. Now go to bed! |

We had our first there (drip induced, 8 hour labour then emergency c-section) and the staff were absolutely first rate! Couldn't fault them. The doctors have been a total pain in the arse with this one but midwives have been fantastic and always restore my faith in humanity |
