It was cancelled

Just got home and the poor wife has been scoffing toast as fast as I can make it bless her.

There were two waiting for elective c-sections today, the first woman went down at 11, we were given scrubs to wear and told to get ready at 12.
Then all hell broke lose and all day was emergencies and no free beds in Maternity.
5.30pm they came and said no chance.
So the wife went nil by mouth for 24hours for no reason

We have to phone them tomorrow morning and Sunday morning to see if there's a chance, failing that Monday should be the day... erm... probably... like today

Not the best day ever, both of us exhausted and the wife potentially has an entire weekend of not eating coming up.
