I have to find somewhere really cool to smoke next. Maybe in a church? It doesn't get cooler than on the loo with your PV in one hand and Candy Crush on your phone in the other. I'll take your word for that Sassy lol. And now I feel a fool, I just realised it was you who commented about steeping not Chrissie. Is it the flavour or the strength that comes out with steeping or is there some other reason for doing it?

Chrissie I just tagged you to show you how brilliant I am at this new tagging thing. The flavour in the stuff I have tastes great to me how much better does it get? And why don't they just sell you stuff they made a month ago instead of saying go steep it? So many vaping mysteries to solve, so little time...

Well tagged silentscream & you are indeed brilliant at it Some of the vendors that mix the the juices that they sell have to freshly mix them to order. Especially the ones that give a big choice of nic & vg/pg content. It would be almost impossible for them to mix & stock pile every variation.

The big sellers? Then they would taste totally amazing and encourage customers to come back. Well I'm guessing they would, I haven't steeped anything. I completely believe you of course that steeping has amazing hidden benefits. Let's face it, why would you lie? I suppose you could be part of some dark underground conspiracy. That would be quite exciting too actually.

I've had some samples from JooseJuice that at first tasted really harsh & bitter so I regretted ordering them, but after a couple weeks sat there in a box un-used, they turned out to be really nice - Definitely recommend steeping, for me it makes a huge difference. Ps; I'm sure you already know this, but check JooseJuice, on their site is a list of tank-crackers, that is, juices that will crack a plastic tank (like the Evod). I've accidentally loaded a tank cracker into an evod and the damn thing cracked almost right away, very disappointing..

The whole steeping thing is as alien as vaping to me at the moment. I got the kit today. Was it black? Yes. Was the battery black? Yes. I thought.. continue.... So two flavours tried, USA Mix which is AMAZING, and Ry4 which is good but very strong throat hit. Is it the high nic that gives the throat hit or the mix of pg/vg I don't know. It is my lot to ponder, but never know. If we are taken over by aliens from Jupiter the aforementioned aliens will make sure to tell me last.

silentscream I'll just add to the "steep joosejuice liquids for a fortnight" brigade Even jj will tell you to steep them for a while, it's not only the flavour but also the colour of the juice that develops - you'll probably find they're all almost clear now, yes? Give them a week or two and they will change (for the better )

I also agree they could have certain combinations pre made and steeped. If you want a custom blend then you should expect to steep it. Thats just my opinion.

I ordered the EVOD starter kit from MyePack and it came today with three 10mil samples I ordered. I have to say I really like it so far and haven't even thought about having a normal cig. Of course It's only 8 hours in I am not claiming the world non smoking record based on that but it's a start! I have a few questions though. Firstly, in both cartomisers I can hear a sort of strange crackling sound when I draw in on them. Is this normal? I hope I put the liquid in properly. I tried to avoid the hole in the central tube but it was fiddly as the bottle had a very fine tip on top and I had to put it in by drops intead of pouring. The other thing, yep stupid question time, when I got the kit I clicked five times to activate the battery. When I'm not using the EVOD I have been clicking five times again to turn it off then doing the five click thing when I need it again assuming this saves battery power. Am I wasting my time doing this? Do you keep it on till it runs out then charge again? The other other thing... is I tried two liquids. USA Mix and Ry4 from Myepack. The USA Mix is 18mg and I love the taste. The Ry4 is 24mg and I like that too but it has a very heavy throat hit. I think they are both 70pg/30vg. Is the high nicotine content giving the big throat hit? I am loving this kit so far and have five more sample bottles coming tomorrow from Joose Juice which I can't wait to try. What gets me most so far is the taste of the flavours are so strong, much nicer than I remember the taste of cigarettes. In fact with normal cigarettes the more of them you smoke through a day the less you taste them and you are just smoking them for the nicotine hit and out of habit. Go Vapers, go me, f*** it, go EVERYONE, we rock! Wow sounds like you are enjoying your vaping adventure !! Here's hoping it continues! 7 weeks today for me! Loving it , spent a fortune though !! Too many goodies out there! Oh and welcome to the forum

When I started (god listen to me now, sound like my own grandad ) all this talk bandied around sounded like some arcane language that I'd never break into, but honestly it all makes sense soon mate. Some people have weird & wonderful methods for steeping, personally when I get a new juice, I put a few drops into a tank, chuff on it, and if it tastes nice, great. If it tastes harsh, it goes into a drawer for a couple weeks minimum, and 9 times outa 10 when I come back to it, it's great. Simples. End of the day the ecig is just a little metal heater on the top of a stick (battery), and is no more complex than it looks. In your normal life you operate complex machinery like cars, trucks, computers, so vaping is a breeze (pardon the pun) by comparison. You'll be fine mate, you have my full confidence!

Hi again everyone, thanks for the great support and encouragement. I have now entered Day 2. Sassy it was a bit strange having a vape instead of a smoke with my coffee but it was okay, I'll get used to it. I usually have a smoke after dinner too but had a vape instead and that was fine, 24mg Ry4 is my after dinner vape for now lol. A quick question while I'm here, what position do you leave your ecig in when you're not using it or in between puffs? I stand my EVOD up with the tip facing up so basically upside down. I seem to remember reading something about don't leave them lying flat. Any rules on this or does it not matter what position it's in? So anyway yeah, no cigs at all since 1pm yesterday and I know there's no way I could have done it without vaping
