Hi again everyone, thanks for the great support and encouragement. I have now entered Day 2. Sassy it was a bit strange having a vape instead of a smoke with my coffee but it was okay, I'll get used to it. I usually have a smoke after dinner too but had a vape instead and that was fine, 24mg Ry4 is my after dinner vape for now lol. A quick question while I'm here, what position do you leave your ecig in when you're not using it or in between puffs? I stand my EVOD up with the tip facing up so basically upside down. I seem to remember reading something about don't leave them lying flat. Any rules on this or does it not matter what position it's in? So anyway yeah, no cigs at all since 1pm yesterday and I know there's no way I could have done it without vaping Well done silentscream! Great to hear that it's going well. in between puffs I just hold my PV - I like the feel of it in my hand. Sometimes I can hold it for ages without toking, half hour or more! It's my ciggie replacement, so it think it's important that it feels good in the hand. As as for standing it up when not using it, I'd not heard about that. Mine tends to lie flat on the coffee table, or sits in my pocket when at work. I guess it makes sense to be vertical, to ensure the coils don't dry up (or at least part of the coil) but I'm not sure it makes a big difference. I'd be interested if anyone else has some thoughts on this.

Cheers ionian. I'm not sure it matters much how you rest it but I'm sure I read something about it, somewhere. Maybe it was all a dream?

Rubber suckers? Wooden stands? You've got this whole thing worked out haven't you? Actually I was musing earlier over what would be a good thing to pop it into when I'm not using it. An ashtray seemed a bad idea...

Thanks for the links mate. That rubber sucker thinggy actually seems quite a good idea. I'm not sure about the lanyards though...
I think custom stands is probably my next stop in vapeland. Already I'm wondering where to put these bottles while they steep.

Oh did I laugh!!! that's exactly what I'd do A warm welcome to Silent Scream and well done!! I am also 28 hours in (yes I AM counting) because it seems a miracle after 30 years hard core smoking?! I didn't intend to 'totally quit' real ciggys but it seems no biggie, I was going to just test out my new evo style e-cig...then somehow I didn't fancy a cigarette. I ordered a lanyard off eBay as in the early days I think i'll need my e-fag close to hand. I'm loving the sucker stands -- must get one for next to my PC. This site is fantastic! every query answered and so much helpful advice. Hope you are having as much fun here as am (((hugs)))

Bask in the gloriousness of my ecig 'holder'! Hours of brainstorming for this one, and it looks so damn good! I know you're all jealous, but no, you can't have one, this is one of a kind and I'm going to trademark it.

I have a Vamo for my day to day vaping and tend to just stand it on the desk, it has a larger diameter than the ego/Kanger type batteries so it's a little easier. Sometimes it does lay on its side, which I haven't found to be a problem on the Protank but some of the other atomisers (atty) (top bits to be technical!) you can't, like a Genesis type atty as there is nothing to stop the juice leaking from the fill hole or wick hole so the have to stand vertical.

Cheers Karma I like the look of that metal one! A desk tidy that you put pens in makes a good stand! Pop mine in the one at work as well ! Lost count how many times I try to write with it .... Hope you are having as much fun here as am (((hugs))) I know what you mean, I was hoping vaping would get me off the cigs but didn't really know what to expect. It's been much easier than I thought it would be. Congrats on the 28 hours It feels like some kind of miracle to me too, never thought I could give up. Bask in the gloriousness of my ecig 'holder'! Hours of brainstorming for this one, and it looks so damn good! I know you're all jealous, but no, you can't have one, this is one of a kind and I'm going to trademark it. Trust Sassy to splash out on the posh stuff
