Yes, I think... Have secured all garden furniture, and the trampoline.
Be interesting to see how bad this storm actually is because it was predicted a fair few days ago now, so if it turns out as bad as feared, those meteorological types deserve a pat on the back.

I just hope the big old tree out front holds out , or I might just end up with a flat car . nowhere else to park.

Storm? Pah! Normal weather in Scotland Tease-smiley Yeah I remember the great Michael Fish storm, I was still living in the Highlands and the whole weather station on top of the Cairngorms got ripped off - including the half ton concrete base it was fixed on.

Went through it yesterday & last night it was really horrendous. Branches down in the garden & it was looking so neat too! With more to come, batten down the hatches & stay safe all!

I sent a message to Garry Dibley worried about his safety broadcasting from his shed on Monday night. "Live on air, Garry holds onto his lathe for dear life as the wind tries to drag him away. . . "

Phew I'm in the zombie apocolypse area thank goodness, it's been like that in my area for years mind you. It's no longer an offence to shoot the locals if you mistake them for a zombie, they're usually loitering on shop fronts and chippy doorways after dark. It's sort of just frowned upon with a "I'm not cleaning that up" from the council bloke now.

Looks like we're in the firing line, but have just checked all the forecasts, civilian and military, and now looks as though we will only get winds of 50mph, which is quite normal for winter storms. I've secured the garden, and have no plans to be out and about. Stay safe everyone, and see you once the power goes back on sometime on Tuesday!!

Secured the bins so they don't hit any cars and that's about it. Haven't had a good hurricane for years, could be quite exciting if we get a good one. Stay safe all.
