Really fed up - considering throwing the towel in...

Am really fed up - I was such a convert and the last few days have been shit. Bought the evod things (posted about elsewhere) both of which leak like buggery - as in juice just falls out the bottom - have tried the fixes but can't just can't spend any more money on getting new heads.

Had some gorgeous butterscotch but most of it disappeared with the evod leakage issues. What was left now tastes totally differnet. One of the favourite flavours I had - cafe brasiliano isn't anywhere near hitting the mark. I bought some new flavours and HATE them, even the free sample. So I'm left with a bunch of flavours that I DID like and a new bunch that I hate....

No need to reply, just properly fed up - want a nice lovely flavour to vape

Is it possible your evods are not evods, but something purporting to be evods?

No easy answer I'm afraid effington . . . there is certainly some expense when you're starting out, but it is very worth it when you find some flavours and a set up that works for you.

Perhaps look at eliquid with a higher VG content, that will be thicker and less likely to leak through your clearo's.

Hi effington...........ok, where did you buy the evods?............what are you using them on?.....& what fixes have you tried?........maybe if you could put up a link to your other thread so we can see it...........if they're kosher evod's then the fix should be quite straightforward.....I myself haven't used them, but plenty have on the forum.....don't give up yet....I'm sure, between us all, we can sort your problem for you.......

I also went through a phase like that, could you not try mixing just a small amount of the flavours you have just to get something vapable

djs - got them from a reputable site - recommended on here and when one of them worked to begin with it was flippin lovely. I've been in touch with them and they've offered to replace if they can find a fault. From help on my other thread I think it's the head that is rubbish rather than the thing itself.

That being said though anything in my protank and clearomizers that I previously enjoyed is now tasting just a bit rubbish and I'm not getting the pleasure I had before....

It seems to be that the liquid is coming through the wick - it is predominantly PG and I don't have any others to try. There was some great advice on fixing the head but to be honest (and I know I'm pathetic, I just want it to work!

I have a spare head that came with the protank so don't know if I can try that?

Perpetua is so right effington - it's hard to say what the problem is. Do you have spare coils for the evods? I'd suggest cleaning the evods, drying everything, and then change the coils. Don't throw the old ones away just yet! Hopefully that will improve the leaking.

With regards to flavours, tomorrow is a new day and you might find something you have will at least get you through. Consider a small order to someone like t-juice, whose juices don't need steeping and delivery times are good, to give you something tasty and reliable to vape.

The one thing that seems to be stressed is to not tighten the clearomiser down onto the battery too tightly......just until you feel it bite, as otherwise it squashes the o-rings & causes leaks.

Sorry - am also using them on a vision spinner thing or my original starter battery - vaping is fine, as in I get a hit and vapour but the flavours are rank or certainly not as nice as I found them originally...

Right. Thanks all. Have used the spare head that came with my minii protank in one of the evods - it's working OK in terms of vaping but still tasting horrible - bah, apologies for such whinging...

That ought to work in the Evod . . . it's worth a try, you've nothing to lose at this stage effington.

Edit to say: You have - what ohm head is it and what voltage are you using on the Spinner?

It could also be your taste buds doing strange things post now no longer smoking.

I did look at it thanks Romelee and had followed all the instructions there apart from knitting my own wick which I neither have the werewithall or desire to do!!!

What volt/wattage are you vaping at?
