Hi

Been vaping for four days now, having been turned onto it, and this forum by newdawn, having smoked for 30 years. Finding it surprisingly easy. I use an MVP with mainly iclear16s and 1 iclear30.

Also I seem to find the fruity flavours more to my taste.

I have a few newbie questions:

How do I get the most from the Variable Voltage function? I just turn it up and down according to the taste of the fluid. Is that correct?

What are rebuildables? and what are they for?

How do you use a drip tip and why?

What happens at a Vapemeet?

Yeh, just have fun with your Variable Voltage. I tend to set it as high as I can to be honest....until the taste suffers.

As for a Vape meet... depends where you go. Mostly they are fantastic, you get to see all the stuff you are frightened to buy, and learn, and have a beer, and socialise and.... Vape with fellow enthusiasts. (Not really for the skycig user... )

Many start by looking for tobacco flavours and find the fruity desert flavours are much more to their tastes. Me I like melon/cinnamon mix and a flavour called Red Astaire

OK, just think of the variable voltage a a volume control for vaping, start low and crank it up till you find the "sweet spot" as you go higher you'll get more vapour up to a point where things will start tasting burnt, just throttle back a bit at that point.

What are rebuildables? and what are they for?

There are a few different types but generally they are atomisers where YOU can make your own coils or buy a coil(s) to use in them. This allows you to customise them to your vaping style. Also with rebuildables when the coil goes you just replace that part not the whole atomiser so they can save money too. There are also "dripping" rebuildable atomisers (RBA's) where there's no tank, you just drip liquid directly onto the coil of the atomiser, many regard this as the way to get the best taste from your liquids.

How do you use a drip tip and why?

A drip tip in the main is the mouthpiece on the end of an atomiser. "Drip tip" is a bit of a generlised term for mouthpiece, but I'll let someone else explain "dripping" or get you a link that explains.

I think you'll find that's only naturist Vape meets. They are only legal in Devon and Cornwall.
