Hi I'm geordie. Tried a couple of e-cigs a while ago and didn't like them as they tasted foul. Came across this forum and read a lot of posts, using what I learned here I ordered an iTaste VTR which arrived on Tuesday and has been tested constantly since then. I've only tried a few liquids and am on Desert Ship with a few drops of menthol added at the moment. This vtr is amazing. I have been smoking a long time and can't stop but since Tuesday I have only had 4 cigarettes, outstanding for me. I can definitely see a time when the analogues will be gone.

I would like to thank everyone who posts here for the vast amount of knowledge I gained. Cheers.

Hi Geordie your kit is one up on mine. I too was a smoker 20 - 30 a day for almost 50 years and haven't looked back since finding this forum. Not one stinkie since taking up vaping the flavour choices are amazing. I tried all the usual NHS rubbish loads of times but never lasted more than a couple of months.

Good start! If you are still using analogues by the end of the week I'd try some more juices. Finding the one that suits you best can take a while.

I agree with Giles - with such a beautiful bit of vaping kit, you owe it o yourslef to get a few tasy juices to go with it. There's lots of places for juice, but I heartily recommend being adventurous and trying some of the t-juice range. They're not cheap, but they arrive pretty much ready to vape and I've always been impressed with the depth of flavour. Just my 2 cents, I'm sure others will have lots of recommendations as well.

If you do go to t-juice, don't leave without some red astaire - it's my (and many on here's) favourite juice.

Hi geordie, you are not Giving ANYTHING up, you ARE Taking up Vaping. 1 Vape is one less Fag, Keep on Vaping!! You WILL find days when there seems to be NO flavour that Hits the spot, there is, you just need to find it. Part of the fun of Vaping is " Well I LOVED this juice yesterday, but I don't want it today.... now what did I do with that sample of Crab Juice/ Roast Beef/Swedish Fish/Bannana" Yep, Flavs you thought you would NEVER touch MAY be the ones to keep you Vaping!

Hi Geordie and a big welcome to the best forum ever! Congratulations on cutting down so much, that's brilliant, you'll stop in time, don't push yourself too hard. I have a friend who was almost determined she'd never stop but agreed to try a spare ecig of mine, 4 weeks later she'd stopped the tobacco almost by accident.
