Hi guys n girls.
Over the past week or so my protank keeps gurgling and seems to gather juice around the top where tip attaches and on the battery connection on my vamo v2. I've changed coil and made sure its all together properly and tight.
Anyone know of the reason that could cause this?
Many thanks

Sounds like it is flooding mate, I really cant offer any advice as I moved pretty quickly away from these set ups due to lack of consistency and the issues you describe, even after re coiling them myself.
It is possible the flavour wick is holding to much juice, the rubber top cap may not be fully pushed down or simply that the supplied wick is a little short causing the juice to flood down the sides.
Some of the pre made coils are pretty hit and miss.

Nope always upright. I read something about taking it off device and stand it up so wick doesnt soak up alot of liquid. But When Its just stood upright and stood up i go to vape and it gurgles and get taste of juice.

I'm no expert but I found when I first used a cotton wool wick in a microcoil I had the wool too tight, replaced wool and once the head was back together I fluffed the wool up on either side where it emerges from the head and then primed this fluffed up wool with juice such that the wool filled the whole into the coil. This way any liquid has to wick threw the wool to get to the coil rather than bypass the wick and flood if there are any gaps. As I say I'm knew to all this but 2 days in I'm flood free

I forgot to add you can generally stop them gurgling by adding a extra "flavour wick"

Biggest issues with these glassomisers is condensation and gurgling from overwicking.
Condensation can be sorted by standing it upside down on its driptip over a piece of tissue. It will then drip out the built up condensation and in theory not be so bad. You can also twist a piece of kitchen roll into a point and stick it down the tube to soak up any excess liquid..
Removing the top flavour wick is the most popular way to stop the gurgling in the long run.. I still don't understand why they put two flavour wicks in there!
Another cause is overfilling.. mine always worked best when i only filled them 3/4 full..
Don't give up, now would be the perfect time to learn about making your own coils and wicks.. heck of a lot cheaper than buying premade heads once you've bought the essentials!!
Don't need much to get started.. some silica wick (I prefer 2mm for my glassys) some heating wire (kanthal 0.20 is a good start), pair of nail clippers to cut wire and wick, multimeter with resistance readout to make sure there are no shorts, and if you're feeling fancy a creme brulee chefs blowtorch to anneal the wire (also makes sure there are no production oils left)..
This forum has a wealth of information to help you on your way and the vape experience will be that much better too!

It could be a number of things.
Here is a few tips:
A common gurgling problem with protanks is if you let the juice run low. Always keep them topped up.
Make sure the wick fills the area it's placed in so there is not a gap when you place the top of the head on (the bit with the groves on for grip). But you don't want it to be to much of a squeeze as you will just get dry hits.
Also the rubber piece that goes on top of the head, get a spare one and place it on the centre tube of the tank.
Don't give up!

Mine gurgles a little bit but never drips no matter how I leave it sitting, the gurgle isn't something that bothers me either. Or maybe what I think is a gurgle isn't.

I've had the same problem with my Davide large glassomisers. Doesn't happen with my Mini Protanks so I use those.
I think the top seal came away on the glass on both my Davides, since then even though I put the seal back they've been problem children.

I use iClear 30 and occasionally have a problem with gurgling, normally after I fill it, so Juice down the centre. I also have a Bottom coil Cheapo, and that gurgles MUCH more often. I think it's down to condensation from the Vapour being heated at the bottom by the coil, then Cooling and condensing as it rises up the Glass. If I give it a "Twirl" if I've left it down for a while that helps, and also "Dry" pulsing a couple of very quick pulses on the coil and then Tooting without Power gives a decent start. Dunno if I'm supposed to do that much messing, but it keeps me busy!!
