Hey hey,
Just joined on the recommendation of a friend. Have been vaping for about 18 months now, and had settled nicely into a simple arrangement (510 Boges on 650 mAh Joyetech passthroughs).
Not living in the EU, but am fairly dependent on EU suppliers, so hoping to learn how to build hardware, and make my own liquid. Very overwhelmed at the moment, so shall mostly be lurking for now.
Meantime am debating whether to opt for rebuildable stuff for now, or to focus on building from scratch/semi-scratch. Would be great to hear the experience of others on this. Gonna be doing a course in electronic and/or precision manufacturing techniques next year, so will at least have the luxury of tutors and workshops.
Anyhow, shall wrap up before I ramble on further.

It's always worth investigating a better Power Supply. MVP2, re-chargeable batteries for MODS (Cheaper in the long run??)
I'm looking forward to seeing some Tutorials from you as you learn on your course. There are some very Tidy MOD makers around.Check Gary Dibley on youtube for Electronic MODs Videos, he's a member on here too.

feuilleMaking juice is very easy, and would save you money. Some good advice in the mixology section. Rebuilding atomisers is easy but a little fiddly. I'd start by getting a clearomiser that is easy to rebuild, like a protank for instance; or a rebuildable atomiser that is easy to do like an Igo-L or an Aga-t I don't think that building your own mod would be too hard, though I haven't done it myself. Garry Dibley as mentioned above has done how-to videos. But personally I'd get a pre-built mod first. Maybe a Vamo or SVD. You wouldn't need electronic knowledge to build a mechanical mod or to build a variable volt device if you copy Garry, or include something pre-built like a kick. Building your own atomiser would, I think, need some specific precision engineering skills, as well as access to decent equipment, but it would be a lovely thing to do.
