daveyboy37 hope all goes well with your order from HC. The last few orders I placed with HC were returned by Beijing Airport for reason best known to them as they didn`t contain batteries or liquids. HC were on the ball with their customer service as all orders were fully refunded. Griff

I do love how things like ego cases, spare tubes and drip tips have at least a 500% mark-up in the UK.

Local vendors have to pay little things like tax, VAT, NI, living wages, rent, council tax etc as opposed to employing small children fed sawdust and kept in boxes overnight. Personally I'm happy to pay a little more, get things quickly, have back up if I need it, and be able to communicate with vendors - all of whom post here.

Local vendors have to pay little things like tax, VAT, NI, living wages, rent, council tax etc As do we all as opposed to employing small children fed sawdust and kept in boxes overnight. A little far fetched Personally I'm happy to pay a little more, get things quickly, have back up if I need it, and be able to communicate with vendors - all of whom post here. As am I. However there is a fine line between UK vendors making a living and ripping people off.

I've ordered a few times with HC. Always waited 6-8 weeks then been told its been sent back and refunded.
On the ball with the refund but the 2 month wait I could do without. So I'm sticking to FT in the future. Never waited more than 3-4 weeks for my FT orders.

There's every chance the supplies we're paying extra for in the UK are the same ones Asian suppliers offer for less.

You're most probably right. And we know Jason keeps Grizwald locked in a cupboard when he's not mixing, so bang goes another of my theories.
My bottom line is I want something, I want it now. I have a problem, I want it sorted yesterday.

The original point I was making was simply that some UK companies such as Myepack are extremely cheap and yet make a profit and so they should. My issue is with UK vendors who multiply that profit margin by 10 fold, 20 fold and some even more. Myepack, VapeEscape and one or two others will always get my custom. The ones who choose to massively overprice their stuff...well I honestly don't care about them. I certainly won't pay those prices just because they're vendors on this forum.

I just wasn't buying the assumption that UK goods were made under better circumstances than Asian goods when the goods are the same.
