I would go with a 306 atomizer and drip tip. Always worked for me. These days I tend to use a dripping rebuildable. You have to make a coil around silica wick or slide cotton wool inside a coil wrapped around a "bit". I use a nail, but people use all sorts. The advantage of the cotton wool one is you can pull it out, slide a new bit in a vape on. People like iGo-L but I never got on with it myself. All these things are a bit of a faff; a simple 306 (or 510) for dripping is never a wasted purchase. www.cloud9vaping.co.uk/epages/yxve46fvrnud.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/yxve46fvrnud/Products/JOYE30652-LRLots of people sell them, so you can shop around. A drip tip is NOT optional, you'll need one.

I was using a Phoenix dripper from Vaporbreak but now I just tend to mix, steep and vape then adjust the recipe if needed, the recipes will come right in the end. Dave

You can test a few flavours before it is spent but previous flavour will contaminate a bit. If you test menthol or coffee type flavours nothing will taste right after! I got this www.ecigs4vaping.co.uk/shop/4578837180/Bauway-LR-Bridged-Dripping-Atomiser/6211200, got the three atomisor and drip tip option. Works but cheap, flavours seem stronger than in protank mini/iclear16s. Dont really bother now, but used when got twenty ish differnt flavours at start. Will get shiny rebuildable one next think but above good for starters if you can't be bothered with rebuilding.

Dave I do this now as well flavourtank . . . I guess with a little mixing experience you get past the sometimes iffy brews, But you can't go far wrong with a 306 if you don't want to get into recoiling just yet.

Iv'e got one of those Igo-L thingy majigy's, but some of the time, when I'm feeling lazy - I tease out the filler with a pair of tweezers, of a standard carto. Add 3 drops to test some juices. Horses for courses, really.

These are very cheap, made of SS, been using one for nearly a week now, at that price you could get a few. You dont have to use two coils in this, one will do fine.
If you dont want to keep making coils when the taste gets a bit yucky after a coconut or other strong flavour taints the coil, these work out at about 12P each.

That's a great idea using the ready made coil/wicks for testing. Time saving and cheap.
I only have my RDA (Tridentv2) for practising coils at the moment. Doubt I shall need to buy another as its for when I start mixing or tasting new liquids. How long does FT take to post and receive?

Newbie question - can cotton wool and wire be used in that too robby? I ask because it looks a tidy item for trying out both techniques without breaking the bank. Plan is to get my head around re-coiling basics before spending big money on the likes of a Spheroid tank.

The only thing is that you have to be careful it doesn`t go dry and burn the cotton newdawn

Excellent news! In that case, links to the correct wire, wick and cotton would be much appreciated so I can add them to the cart as well. While I'm at it and feeling cheeky (brave)...if it's possible to re-coil mini protanks, links to wire and wick for those too would be much appreciated. Thank you!
