Was thinking that too .... £30 for a blister starter pack is quite steep especially when the clearo's look like single coil non rebuildables.

yes I have tried affro Dizziac and loved it as well as red astaire.
ok so red astaire at 15% and and affro Dizziac at 15% then add more if required seems the way to go.

oh for a guide I cant taste jack the ripple pre mix at all.

maybe it will need longer to steep than the others from T-juice , someone put up here that if you leave it a while it is almost un vapable. so leaving mine a while before re trying.

No no no

Red @ 20% - trust me, I've vaped almost nothing but this since September (well that and Druide).  20% 50/50 mix.  Divine.

Affo is crazy strong so 15% fine

lots say 12-15 and some say 20%
ive always done 70/30 since the start mainly cause iam thinking more PG more flavour but tell me ive got that wrong if i have.

Check out Super-Shiny's fluid thread, it's as close and as good as I think us mixologists are likely to get... failing that, Druide is a Mrs Lord e-juice, good, but premium price like T-juice

I don't find any flavour drop off using VG heavy home brews clivealive1 . . . you can always add a little more flavouring anyway if you're mixing your own.

Well the 50/50 thing is more about my slight sensivity to PG - too high for me and I get mouth ulcers and sore throats - I've dialled back to 50/50 in both self mixed and pre mixed and the problem went. In all honesty I haven't noticed a huge amount of difference in flavour or for that matter in vapour but that might be just me.

And the mix - well I guess it depends in your taste buds, but for me Red Astaire is best when its strong and the flavour comes blazing through - and that's really a fresh head and a 20% mix - I tried lower and its a pale imitation. Can't comment too much on the premix as the PG/VG split hurt my throat but it did taste strong and 15% doesn't taste like RA to me.

Druide is a Mrs Lord concoction - aniseed/absinthe - green, absolutely lovely - intense but not hair raising like Affro can be. FWIW I vape my own VA mix during the day and tend to vape Druide in the evening - kind of works for me

Depends on which way you go, and how big a quantity you want to start with.

A rough breakdown would be:

PG = £8 (ebay 1L)
VG = £1.30 (Boots 200ml)
Nic Base = £13.56 (LT Ecigs Diamond Crystal 54mg 100ml)
Concentrate = Your preference. I would get a few (maybe 2 or 3) different concentrates from T-Juice to start as they are easy. Probably around £12
Syringes = A couple quid from boots MAX. Probably looking to get a couple 1ml and 5ml. Maybe the 10ml too if your planning on decanting any of the bigger quantities onto smaller bottles.
Bottles = Free if you kept your old ones. Otherwise another couple quid to get started. Maybe 10 x 10ml and 5 x 30ml would be fine. Good idea to get a few 100ml bottles from boots too.

I was around £6 from boots for 20 100ml bottles, lockable childproof caps and some syringes, bottles for decanting my bulk buys (was originally for the 2l of nic base I ordered in the GB, but will need more since I bought 1L of PG too, and good for mixing the VG in).

All in all, less than £30 to set up, not including concentrate. I buy the 30ml concentrate from T-Juice now, and that does me fine. £10 for 30ml that makes 150 ml (@20%). The PG and VG are so cheap it (almost) as if it were free. Maybe £1.50 for the remaining 130ml. So £11.50 for 150ml of Red Astaire is a bargain, and will last a while for sure. The bottles and stuff are obviously re-usable so I don't factor them into the cost anymore.
