I've used lots of LT flavourings. Cheap, mostly good, with very fast and friendly service.
Quick list of the ones I like (remember that different people find various flavours more appealing):
Kent (a thick, rich tobacco with licorice and other tones in it) Bahrani Apple * (lovely!) French Vanilla Deluxe (more useful in complex recipes than alone) Orange * Pinacolada * (also lovely!) Strawberry * Cuba Cigar (sweet tobacco, though nothing like a cigar) RY-4 * (mix at 15 or 20%, use whilst very fresh as it seems to go off quickly)
And the ones which do not work for me: Licorice Blackcurrant Dark Chocolate Oba Oba (now has a new but similar made-up name) Anise (aniseed) Cola (terrible) Lime (difficult to make a nice mix and melts plastics) Parma Violet (very difficult to blend a pleasant mix but I do make a good complex one using it with three other flavours)
The ones I've marked with a * I use alone with just VG and PG base, they are good without adding other flavourings. The flavour reviews on the LT site are generally a good guide. The ones with five stars are usually safe bets.
You'll need 100ml of LT's 38mg PG, plus some VG which you can get much cheaper from Boots (this one: www.boots.com/en/Value-Health-Glycerin-B-P-200ml_852418/, it is on the cough medicines shelf in the shop.)
When you have been mixing for a while you might want to add Ethyl Maltol to your repertoire, or another similar sweetener, as it is very useful for adding to some flavours.
LT are good value, and I think the most expensive it has been for me is about 90p to mix up 10ml with 20% flavour strength. Go on.... do it! 90p for 10ml of juice that you have proudly mixed to your own personal taste... not bad, eh?
All the best

So that's two who vote for Kent already!
Should also mention that LT Sour Ruby (Rhubarb) was quite revolting. I think thay may have discontinued it now.

I must agree that mixing your own from T-Juice concentrate is definitely the way to go!! I recently mixed 60ml each of 4 different flavours, and reckoned it cost about £2.50 per 30ml, and that has left me with enough spare bases to mix another couple of hundred ml quite easily for the cost of the concentrate. If you like the flavour a lot, buy the concentrate in 30ml bottles, and it's even cheaper! £3.99 for 10ml, £9.99 for 30ml - it's a no-brainer!!

When making Kent juice, start by using a small percentage. Don't be like me as I killed it by adding 12%.

+1 for mixing your own from T-juice conc, allows you to tweak PG:VG levels too!
Starter kit may be expensive ish relative to one bottle of juice, I bought all sorts, and backups of backups.... But equipment wise, think I've only actually used 1x1ml syringe, 1x5ml syringe, 1xneedle(I forget gauge, 14maybe) and a small plastic cup for my two mixes so far! Point is you could start small for not much outlay, nicotine is the expensive part but it soon pays for itself and worth shopping around for that!

There were a good few of us in the same spot only a month ago. Myself and Pepperty asked questions until we were blue in the face and the pros around here were good as gold talking us through it. It seems more daunting than it actually is once you get going and we're all here to help you along the way, just like we were helped when we needed it.

ok bit confused I want to make say 10ml bottle of 70pg/30vg that is overall around 10-12 mg nicotine. why 38mg ? if it makes it easier say a 50ml bottle. vg is vapour right. so i get 100ml of LT's 38mg PG ?, plus some VG from Lt's (for now) then add concerntrate but how much. see confused .com

Click on 'Mix Calc' at the top of the forum. You'll be able to input the type of nic base you have (38mgPG or whatever you get), the flavour in whatever percent you'd like (a lot of talk of 20% for most single flavours, but don't quote me on it), the strength you'd like it to be, the PG/VG ratio you'd like (60/40 seems popular enough) and the total ml's you'd like to make. Then click 'generate recipe' Viola. With the syringes you'll be able to measure out down to .1 ml. If you do decide to go ahead with it, I ordered far more syringes than I actually needed, so I'll send you a set of the main ones as well as a few empty plastic bottles to get you going. Just PM me your postal info and they're yours for nada.

Using flavour concentrates is trial and error but its always best to start low as this will allow you to adjust it. What mix do you intend to make as flavours percentages are different depending on the concentrate. When mixing a new recipe, always start by making a small amount I.E 1ml or 5ml for a test. Having said that, I make 10ml but I'm daft.
I was going to buy the 72mg pg nic 500ml from go 4 smoke but I ran out of cash so I decided to buy the 54mg PG nic from Lte as I have bought from them before. Whether you buy 72mg 54mg or 38mg nic, the eliquid calculators will tell you the amount you will need for a recipe by inputting the mg number you purchased. If that makes any sense.
My brain is not to good this time in the morning so I understand if no comprende

VG = more vapour PG = a better throat hit clivealive1. The Mixology Board is a wealth of information . . . . allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/board/18/mixology-generalYou'll probably want both plain PG & VG depending on your preferred ratios, but they're inexpensive to pick up. I'll echo Stamina's advice on only making a small volume of flavours until you get a feel for what strengths suit your taste buds. It's so much more pesky to tweak 30ml, than 5 or 10ml if you don't get it right first time. Using a calculator is essential.

Hi all. Since you're talking about DIY can I ask why nicotine comes in difference strengths and how do you know which str you should buy it in? i.e. if your juice is 18mg final str how do you know which nicotine to get? Also a question for Perpetua when you say get both plain PG and VG what do you mean? I thought you bought either PG or VG based nicotine then bought the one that doesn't come with the nic seperately? So confusing. Also any tips on a good inexpensive starter kit would be welcome or link to buy basic equipment. I have made it my new years resolution to get into DIY, sorry for all the questions I will read the guides as well I promise lol.
