I'm back! I'm back! from the land of anaesthetic Been there so often, it really is pathetic! Missed you so much, you couldn't conceive! So dull & depressing you wouldn't believe! Folk talking of ailments! just ain't uplifting Chat was so dreary, I found my thoughts drifting! I thought of you guys; all the banter & stuff A really good tonic when you're feeling rough! What have I missed? Fill me in on the news Developments? Gossip? & outrageous views? Well, I'm home, all repaired, operation eleven!!! Found my vaping stuff died!! & gone to heaven!!!! Gonna look up Keef's posts bout cleaning & blowing Boil the kettle methinks, keep hot water flowing! If that all fails, think "forward" I say Plan B, must save my e cigs another way! A cauldron, in black? would be quite cute Leg of frog! & Some mud? & Eye of newt? Gnat's blood, some flavouring, vanilla too? Boil up, Dance around!! A "magic" stew!!! "Sterile Lands" time's affected clear thinking! Aforementioned plan? Probably stinking!!! Best stick to advice in these great pages I'm crossing my fingers, it won't take ages! If all goes wrong, I'll ask what should be done? Reassuring, in touch, with guys that are fun!
Errr, well, the flow of my ditty may leave much to be desired, but you, hopefully, get my drift? Thought of you all lots, healing s l o w l y (like my typing speed - it's painful!!) NOT impressed that NONE of my e cigs or SD are working on arriving home!!! Back on the dreaded weed full time at the mo, while I attempt re suss on my vaping equipment!!! Gonna follow instructions on all these pages this afternoon & hope to get them working again!!! Missed you guys!

Welcome back (((((((Lolli))))))) we have missed you so much Your ditty is brilliant & made me So sorry to hear your e-cigs have died. Lets try & work out what may have gone wrong via a process of elimination? Firstly, I presume you have charged up your batteries? Secondly, have you tried more than one different attie on your SD for instance?

Hi guys - glad you like! Linda FAB Been cleaning my atties 'n charging my e batteries! (& spider batts - again!) - off for a lie down in a mo - feel my own batteries need charging before the reassembly commences! Done hardly anything - shattered already Fingers crossed! See you later

Greetings Loll and so glad you're up and at 'em again. Get plenty of rest and not too much frustration over the e-cigs. There's nowt much to go wrong with the SD and I'm sure you've already given the contacts a good cleanse 'n polish. As to the atties, I would expect these to have dried out owing to lack of use and may only need heating and blowing through but I've no experience of little used atties!!! Love the ditty!! Fox

If the cleaning - charging and re priming does not work. Try this...... Make sure your button is screwed in properly, I don`t remember which colour SD you got ?. Some of them have a little rubber ring where the body screws together. Remove it as it may be causing poor contact.

following up on keefs post firstly just use a clean soft dry rag on the threads that join the SD together,if this dont work take of the black rubber ring from the button part of the SD,the ring is at the lowest part of the thread. i had grief with my mk1,and asked for help on the trog forum.they kept giving me the above info,i kept looking at the thread and thought they were bonkers, what the bloody hell does a clean thread have to do it. "i thought". i actually thought they were extracting the urine,BUT no they were in fact spot on. it still dont make any sense to me,but thats why they do what they do and i do what i do. chin up and get well soon!!!!!!!! ragjoy

Morning luverly people Cleaning, priming, charging complete ! Can't find a rubber ring to discard on my (black) SD though. Got one 901 & one 510 up 'n running - both performing well - think the other atties are done for BTW - what kind of life length do the 901, 510 batties normally give ??? The SD is going but it's pretty feeble - needs lots of suck (wears me out!) & doesn't last long before needing change of battery! THANK YOU ALL for your replies x x x

Battery life depends on how much you vape Loll so it's very hard to give an accurate estimate but I haven't lost one yet although some are now pretty short lived when in use. The 510s have a ludicrously short vape time between charges anyway - even the new, slighter longer ones aren't much better which is why I always use a PCC. I've never used a battery 'exclusively' as I have loads of different models and switch between them all the time. Pleased to hear you've got something to vape away your frustrations on - enjoy! Fox

Lolli, I've had some 901 atties last a couple of months or more, others only a week or so & a couple from my last pack from TW, for even less time. One of them died after only a couple of puffs another after only a few hours The black SD's don't have the rubber ring on them. Wondering if it's the button that might need adjusting as Keef mentioned?

Hmm .... I just mentioned the button as we don't want it to work its way loose and fall off while we fiddle Take the 901 atty that works - remove the cart and screw it on to the SD . Press the button and what do you see happen inside ?. Did you also try cleaning the threads as ragjoy mentioned ? The ones that hold the body together not the ones that screw in to the atomiser. Also the 510 is a thirsty toy - not only in liquid terms but it also eats up batteries much faster than a 901 will. So 2 people who vape in identical ways one with a 901 and one with a 510. The 510 user will have to charge their batteries more often. That goes for the large battery mods too - it simply draws more power and drains them faster.

at worst you should get 3 hours from a newish battery. i would gamble on the threads, mine needs cleaning every few days or i get a bad connection, you have too suck harder because the connection is not 100%. i dont use my mk1 as much as my mk2 so it is probably a running in issue with the threads. its just as easy to wipe the threads every battery change it certainly wont harm anything. ragjoy...........
