Hi clivealive1Percentages is a funny one as I've just started mixing myself i had this same question. When you selected the product some of them state use 3% as a guide line.... the quest for you and me and others is to find the right amount for your taste. Do start of low as its easier to add than take away from what I've read. I got sent a spreed sheet from lairey that she has created as her own guide line but Does help for a percentage to start at. Please make sure you have 5ml bottles as its less waste if it tastes like crap. It is all trial and error. Some of my threads i started ask excatly the same questions. What you planning to mix or you just using them as stand alone?

I make everything at 20% to start with and worry later! That said it hasn't let me down yet except once with affrodoziac. I'd suggest you make 10ml of each with 15% flavour and see what you think. If you start too low especially with a steeper, you'll have to wait twice as long while you wait for the extra flavour added after your first test to steep again. Of the ones you listed I've tried gummi bear (love this, used to buy it premade) and IMO it needs 20% and I've tried cinnamon Danish also 20%, and it needs 3-4 weeks steeping to mellow out, it's quite a dry vape. Blueberry I made at 20% and it was too strong and quite chemically, if I made it again I'd do 10% and see from there. I also made bubblegum at 20% but never got to try that because the mrs Vaped it all, I must make some more. Have fun, and when the Afro arrives I'd suggest starting at 10%, it'll still be horrible but at least it won't melt the inside of your ear canals

thanks all - poo iam going for 30% affro lol kidding. i will use ur guide thanks
so generally if i was to go for 15% on something and it was too weak then i could re do the mixer calculator and add the difference in flavour between 15% and 20% yes ?
or could i go 33% more then the original amount in ML ?
or is it more complicated than that.

Yes but you'd reduce the nic % a little.or could i go 33% more then the original amount in ML ? Not sure I understand you but I doubt it. If you had, say 10 ml at 15% you could make another 10 ml to your preferred nic level at 25%, and mixed together 50/50 you'd get 20%. Which isn't a bad way to do it as long as you keep records, because you can mix in different proportions to find your favourite.or is it more complicated than that.

gee it gets more complicated lol.
yes ur idea is cool.
my idea was flavour at 15% mix calculator gives the number of ML to add to the mix. 20% is an extra 1/3 of 15% so i thought i could just add a 1/3 extra of the ML level originally given. lol confusing myself now lol

I think your taste buds are shot. Granted its not as strong as Afro Dizziac, but I cant imagine many people saying they can't taste anything.

These are what I do/would do:
flavour west butter scotch - 20% flavour west gummi bear - 20% capella chocolate fudge brownie - 25% capella Blueberry - 15% Capella Gingerbread - 20% PA Cinnamon Danish - 20% capella caramel £2.85 - 20-25% PA bugglegum £1.95 - 20%
My taste buds are probably on a similar level to yours Clive, though I do mix Afro at 15% and find that quite strong enough.

thanks - starting points are higher than i expected on some. ie caramel and fudge but trust ur judgement and no couldnt taste jack the ripple but left it in cupboard for a month now so will have another go soon.
affro wise I suppose it depends what percentage is the same as the premixed version. which i found ideal.
