My Trident RBA Clone + first mechanical mod= Happy Boyofford

As title, bought from greyhaze in Birmingham today

Trident v2 RDA Clone and a Sentry Mod.

borrowed a small battery from a mate, think it looks better with it than with big battery I bought.

Had coils made in shop and using cotton wool, need to get me some wire now!

Wasn't going to buy a mod but forgot my MVP2 and spinner today so had to get something and kinda goes with it, think its coiled to low ohms anyhow for mvp2 as didn't read ohms on my mates VV(forget what his is)

Need to make some lower nic eliquid as kicks like a mule lol.

So much for not spending this month, but it was my birthday yesterday!

I've a couple of the original Tridents here as well as a couple of clones and for vape quality you can't tell them apart
When I fancy going down to about an ohm or so dual coil it's the trident I go for- stonking performer

It is a great vape, can't afford original prices and like you said and from what I've read the clone performs the same.
This v2 is much easier to dismantle than the v1 I've seen on YouTube etc.
Not sure I'm keen on the mod but very stealthy in short mode.

What gauge of wire do you use for coiling it?

Depends, if I'm going dual micro coil then .25 kanthal A1
If I'm going standard dual coils then .2 kanthal A1

Where can the V2 be bought online? I've been threatening a FT purchase, but held off because I wasn't sure which version it was.

Greyhaze have online shop too, think FT is v1. It's £18.99 at the moment from greyhaze so not bad and seems good quality clone.

Looks like a nice combo - good choice on the atty, I have the v1 and the v2 does look much better.

Woah wait a bloody minute.

It's coiled to low for your MVP? and your using it in 18350 mode? what battery is it your using? and whats the ohms?

Erm... Oh dear, not good?
Slap my wrists, I vaguely knew that low ohms were to be used with caution, but forgot in the excitement.

It is too low for mates mod, a Sid I think, yet to test on MVP2.

Think fella did say he would coil it for about 1.5 ohm+ as wanted to try on MVP, but as didn't test so don't know, and his is at 0.7 so am wondering if he forgot and done same as got distracted by a customer, think its six wraps around with 28 weight kanthal.

Edit. Got 16850 battery too, that should be ok shouldn't it?

I want to see this for real on Saturday.

When I turn up late, and the cameras have all left, and tumble-weed is knocking about the place generally, I expect to see Vape signals on the horizon somewhere.

Just had it confirmed 100%, I cannot get there in time for the demo.

What batteries are they? brand and model.

You really need to test the resistance of that coil mate.

The short battery was red, sorry for vageness! Wont use it again anyhow as unlikely to be good one I reckon.

The vape ain't as powerful as fella in shops 0.7ohm dual coil, well I think.

Think the 16850 battery must be a eFest IMR Battery, just looked on his website.

Again sorry for vageness, have had to leave my purchases at work until I work out a cover story to explain them lol.

Just read some stuff that makes me not want to actually fire it up on MVP2 anyhow, though will test to see if can measure ohms.

Just read somewhere that the MVP2 will see and fire down to 1.3ohms.
If it does then is it ok to use with dual coils?
