I wish I had joined and read all the advice before jumping straight in with the results I am having now. However I have changed the clearomiser as suggested, and hurray! back to the nice flavour again. I am wondering if I let the juice go too low. I stupidly thought I should finish the juice in the clearomiser before refilling. I understand now I should keep it topped up to keep the wick saturated. Oh that makes sense. I am quite happy with the 11mg. strength I think. The 10motives e cigs I was using before yesterday were 16mg and I am hoping through time to keep reducing and eventually stop. I am so pleased, no more ash in my car, no baccy on the floor where I rolled my cigs in advance for the day. The advantages are enormous. I am so grateful for your help. I will go and read the information you advised. Oh researching on the net was driving me nuts. I would find exactly what I thought I wanted, looked somewhere else to see if I could get it cheaper, and there were even more. It was so confusing. I bought c4 clearomisers, don't know by whom, as there's no name on the box, and 680 something or other batteries from Vapourtorium in Carlisle. I looked at Riva 1100 before, maybe I should have bought that. Anyway deed done, I can't afford to throw £63 away. At least if I use it for a while I can then get something better, but of course I will be asking here first this time. Oh I took some photographs, but as I thought, can't get them on here. Thankyou all again. You are great! ;D Buy- use for a while- upgrade Is the way forward :)

I was expecting to see a photograph, but this is what I got instead. It might work, I know not. Just one more thing, I would like to ask for now. If you are out for the day, do you need to take your refil bottle with you to top up? If you do, do you find somewhere inconspicuous to do it. I would love to know, thankyou all. I am so happy I found you helpful lovely folk.

Depends now much you vape, you have a spare clearo there so if you dont vape more than 3ml per day then just take your 2 clearos full with you, no need to find anywhere inconspicuous either Vaping is not a crime lol
you just have to see what works best for you
hope this helps steve

yes, photos shows nicely. Pretty colours , yes you have simple starter kit batteries, and don't worry, if and when you upgrade stuff, its always great to have spares. I started off with similar stuff, and I still have as backup and use a 650 battery as a e-liquid flavour tester and have one in my handbag for when I nip out, so nothing is ever a waste. Welcome to AAEC forum crazyquilter, yes keep your tank with liquid filled and I carry a little juice bottle in my handbag if I know i'll be out ages, they don't leak if you make sure lid is properly screwed down. Sometimes I just take another tank with a different flavour in and swap them about. My best friend uses a kit like this, with throwaway tanks, she has no interest in upgrading her stuff, so has been happy for over 6 months using her kit. She buys her replacement tanks and has 5 or 6 in and if one starts tasting burnt she throws away and pops a new one on battery, hers last her about 3 weeks normally? and I think she pays a couple of pounds for each one so says its economic for her as she only uses one eliquid flavour.

crazyquilter if you're in Carlisle pop along to the indoor market and have a word with ian he runs a stall there. He'll check if you can replace the coils in your clearos and check your charger out. If you go on a Saturday you might meet Di and Mr DiThe wee USB thingy that you have plugged into the wall charger, that should have it's own light and be red when charging and green when fully charged

I will do that KARMA, thankyou for tell me that. I didn't know there was a vaping stall in the market. After all the information I have had today from all you lovely people I am thinking, to hell with poverty, throw another pea in the soup and get a different kit. Where to start is another matter and I had better not ask about that today as you will all be sick of me by now.

A warm welcome to you crazyquilter - please don't worry about how many posts you make, you should see some of the regulars' totals!! If you were really serious about an upgrade, you could do a lot worse than this - Mini Protank kit. The battery and MPT is compatible with your existing batteries and clearos, so all the components are interchangeable, meaning you could use the MPT during the day and have a fresh battery waiting for you at home. You also have 5 spare heads giving you at least 2 months of vaping before needing to buy any more, and we can point you in the right direction for good cheap replacements! After a month or 6 weeks, you might feel ready to upgrade a bit more and go for a Variable Voltage battery which enables you to pump up the voltage to get more flavour and throat hit. I would not be in any hurry to lower your nicotine - hang fire at the strength you are happy with at the moment and bide your time until you are settled at that strength before going lower. Well done so far, and please feel free to ask for more help - there's always one of us here to provide answers to questions, no matter how silly and stupid they sound to you; we have all been there and know what it feels like!
