Hi crazyquilter and to aae-c. Don't ever worry about asking too many questions! They really are a great bunch here and have all been where you are. You're doing great sticking with it.

Well done crazyquilter I think the most useful thing you did was find this site and then have the sense to ask questions, everyone here is wonderful and helpful and Helped me along the way, now gone about 14 weeks without a ciggy(well, just 1 and it was horrendous).
My view is if you have got this far , with the help you will get here you will be a non smoker in no time!

I wish I had joined and read all the advice before jumping straight in with the results I am having now. However I have changed the clearomiser as suggested, and hurray! back to the nice flavour again. I am wondering if I let the juice go too low. I stupidly thought I should finish the juice in the clearomiser before refilling. I understand now I should keep it topped up to keep the wick saturated. Oh that makes sense. I am quite happy with the 11mg. strength I think. The 10motives e cigs I was using before yesterday were 16mg and I am hoping through time to keep reducing and eventually stop. I am so pleased, no more ash in my car, no baccy on the floor where I rolled my cigs in advance for the day. The advantages are enormous. I am so grateful for your help. I will go and read the information you advised. Oh researching on the net was driving me nuts. I would find exactly what I thought I wanted, looked somewhere else to see if I could get it cheaper, and there were even more. It was so confusing. I bought c4 clearomisers, don't know by whom, as there's no name on the box, and 680 something or other batteries from Vapourtorium in Carlisle. I looked at Riva 1100 before, maybe I should have bought that. Anyway deed done, I can't afford to throw £63 away. At least if I use it for a while I can then get something better, but of course I will be asking here first this time. Oh I took some photographs, but as I thought, can't get them on here. Thankyou all again. You are great! Congratulations crazyquilter! And welcome to the most helpful forum in the country

Hi and crazyquilter ! Congrats on making the switch to vaping, keep up the good work! If I were you, I'd try to get a refund for the kit you bought, because you can get a lot more for your money! But don't worry too much if they won't take it back, because it should tide you over for a while. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions - everyone here is very friendly and helpful.

Taking all the advice, I have sent for iclear16 clearomisers x 2, but couldn't see the 16 dual coil heads on the myepack site. I probably would have to find out how to use them too. I am wondering what the 16 is. I checked the usbs and there is no light on them to indicate whether the battery is charged or not. I phoned Vaportorium and asked about that. Guess what he said, yes, bring them in and I'll check for you. It takes me over an hour's journey to get there, but the upside is, from the info., you kind folk have given me, is that I can go into Carlisle market and meet the experienced man Ian you told me about. Come to think of it, maybe he would have those coils and could show me how to use them. However, after 2 sleeps now, I think I will have to get something simple and reliable, nice to look at, gives a reasonable amount of vapour and all of that without breaking the bank. If someone would be brave enough to suggest something to me, I would be eternally grateful. You are such a lovely bunch. It has been worth all the hassle to meet you all.

Good work on getting the iclear 16's - you should get a decent quality vape from them. Here is the link for the spare coil heads on myepack: myepack.co.uk/accessories/iclear-16-dual-coil-heads-1-5ohm.html . Maybe if you email them, you could get them to add the coil heads to your order? Talking to an experienced vaper in person about how best to use your equipment sounds like a great idea - I find that being shown how to do things is often more straightforward than reading instructions. But in the meantime, there's loads of useful info on youtube: If you type in 'iclear 16', you will find videos explaining how to fill the clearomizer and change the coil heads. Please let us know your budget, so that we can suggest the best devices in your price range: I suspect that people will mention the Vision Spinner, Ego Twist and Innokin VV, which all have a good reputation and come at a reasonable price. Taking those first few steps into vaping can be quite daunting, because it feels like there's so much to learn. But do persevere and before you know it, filling your clearo and changing coil heads will feel like second nature. You've already done the hard part, which is making the transition from cigarettes!

I could make you loads of suggestions but I don't really want to at the moment. The 16s you've ordered should work with the batteries you have. I would pop to see Ian before you go back to Vaportorium and he can check things over for user error or if the stuff is just pants then you should have more ammo to get a refund. If it is user error he can perhaps give you some tips. I would hate for you to spend more money at the moment until we work out why you're having problems His stall is not the easiest to find. If you go in the door at the bottom where the bus stops are, you turn right and he's along there. They've kind of got him tucked away from the main bit Tell him Karma sent you

Ah now that sounds sensible to me, and I will do exactly that on Wednesday. I suspect there are two problems, one being my own stupidity and the other maybe inferior usb's. I will try to add coils to my little order by email, good idea. Oh and thankyou for the utube idea. Yes, seeing something done is so much easier than reading instructions. Anyway I think I am so smart I don't need instructions. It's only when things don't work for me, I turn to them and wonder why I didn't read them in the first place. Actually it is lack of patience, I need everything yesterday or the day before that preferably. I wish I could buy you all a nice big cream cake.
