Just wondering if any of you keep fit, since you gave up the cigarettes? I have to say, since I gave up - I've put about 18lb's on however, just recently - I've started doing a few miles every other day on my mountain bike and, I'm surprised how relatively easy I'm finding it. A couple of months ago - I could hardly climb the stairs to go to the bog, without getting out of breath. I always thought that, when you buy a mountain bike, you were supposed to prop it up somewhere in the back garden and look at it. The thought of exercising is a step in the right direction, though . So, what are you all up to?

I regularly walk about 70 steps to and from the car! Never have exercised and never will.

Its a funny old thing, I have always been very fitness driven. When I smoked the first thing i would do after a phys session was smoke, but since vaping I can't do it, It destroys my throat and lungs and I have to wait at least 20 minutes and take little baby puffs.
Very weird but im not complaining.

Same here, I've always been an active person with my job and doggy walking, eaten sensibly . . . smoking was always my Achilles Heel. Unwrapping Vape Mail has been an unexpected exercise opportunity.

I started running again. I can manage 5km quite easily the first few times out, but I did a half-marathon as a smoker, so it's not a big surprise.

I run 5k a few times a week if I get to it, but don't lose sleep if I miss a session now and then.

I try to kayak as much as possible, but you may have noticed that the sea conditions in COrnwall are less than conducive at the moment! I am lucky to live in the country, and walk a few miles twice a week, and when the light evenings reappear, I'll take to my daily 1-hour circuit, 3.5 miles, which I walk in 50 minutes. Sets me up nicely for a shower and a glass of wine

No more, no less. Dog Walking. Golf. Snooker. AAEC. I know its nothing to be proud of but, the board man used to come looking for me at the snooker centre - I usually hid under table 9 and Janice, the lady behind the counter, would just shake her head and say ''no I've not seen him''. Became an obsession of mine ( playing snooker, not sciving off school ) my highest break is 86.
