Hi everyone. I spent all day yesterday on laptop looking for an ecig as I thought I would just get a good starter kit to get me going....had no idea there was so many options. The more I looked the more confused I got. Found this forum and found it the most helpful by far as o many friendly members all giving good responses to people like myself. So I really hope you will help me. I would love if someone with experience could advise what I should go for. I live in n.ireland and ideally want to go into shop an buy this but cant find anywhere I can do that. I smoke approx 20 a day and want to quit but have never been able to before after trying patches, cold turkey, herbal cigs etc etc I dont want the one that looks like a cig as iv read enough to know they wouldnt be sufficient for me. Please advise me on what would best suit my most important needs: idea of a vaporizer, one that is easy to use, not messy, will last all day, gives a good real throat hit plenty of vapour produced dosent leak. Ease of use is important as if too fiddly and messy I think it may put me off. The equivalent strength to a 20 a day normal smoker
Please help, all advice greatly appreciated. I actually have a chest infection at the moment but am that bad im still smoking so really want to get one of these asap. I have saw recommendations for the Evod starter kit with 650 battery, and the mini protank 2 but this is currently out of stock from myepack. If you advise one of these please say which and reason for one over the other an I could maybe get from another site. I saw a recommendation for the itaste? I want one that will be easy to get further supplies/accessaries forso wasnt sure if this brand was as well known. Im totally lost so please advise only one starter kit that you feel would suit my needs best...if you send me a few options il just get more confused lol Sorry for sounding so dim and thank you so much for reading this. Apologies its so long but wanted to give you much info possible

Hi and welcome chickapeaI might be not the best person to take advice from but i've done my research on which one to get so yesterday i placed an order for iTaste MVP 2.0 which does not look like a cigarette plus you don't have to change batteries as you just have to charge it and it has biggest capacity at 2600mAh some people say it will last you up to 2 days depends how fast you smoke it. I got mine from love-vaping.com/37-itaste-mvp-vvvw-kit some people were giving advice to get from myepack.co.uk but there were only 2 colours so i went with love-vaping site and it looked a bit cheaper. I can't comment how good it is as i'm still waiting but from the reviews its a best to go for. Best regards

Hello and I personally use the itaste vv/vw v3 and was on about the same ciggies as you. I have 2 one on charge one in use and find they last me most of the day (each) with them I use the mini protank 2 which is my preferred tank I have tried others but always return to the protank minis within a day. I use 18mg juice and haven't had any cravings for ciggies since starting. Like you I had tried all the NHS routes before with no success but taking up vaping I found it just happened never intended to stop smoking just cut back a bit but within a couple of days I no longer wanted cigarettes and the rest is history as they say. This is the battery at a very good price from myepack myepack.co.uk/batteries/innokin-itaste-vv-v3-0-express-kit.html add a couple of protank minis some juice and your good to go

Greetings chicapea Welcome For some ready to vape eliquid have a look at t-juice.com (discount code is givemejuice for 15% discount) or www.mrslord.co.uk/T-juice has slightly more intense flavour and more throat hit whilst Mrs Lord has more mellow flavour and slightly more vapour Whilst there are cheaper juice vendors they usually mix to order and the juices require steeping. The last thing a new vaper wants to do is receive a packet of eliquid bottles and then have to put them away in a drawer for a fortnight before they are ready! If you have a chest infection probably best to stay away from anything too minty or too sour as these could make you cough.

I also have saw alot of different mentions of the eGo....would you recommend this for me..or maybe it is not even a particular type, its all quite confusing lol.i like the idea of something I read about the ego having lots of different accessories to fit or something along that line, any suggestions appreciated. Als o once I get a starter kit then what do I need to keep going after that...is it just the liquid I buy then?? Im a little ahead of myself as havent ordered starter kit yet but want to order all together so when I get it I dont run out and have an excuse to go back on the bad boys lol

Hi chickapea and . The other ecigs already mentioned in this thread are very good and compatible with various tanks, etc. same as the ego.

Im a little ahead of myself as havent ordered starter kit yet but want to order all together so when I get it I dont run out and have an excuse to go back on the bad boys lol A lot of ecig batteries are described as Ego's . . . it's a bit like calling a vacuum cleaner a Hoover chickapea. As much as anything it refers to the type of threading they have which is compatible with the vast majority of our equipment. Have you had a good read of this thread, which might help make things a little clearer for you: allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/28309/pics-vids-get-started-abbreviations?page=1&scrollTo=513677Once you've got your starter kit, then yes you'll need a supply of eliquid and heating coils - assuming you go for something that has replaceable heads. Which tend to be the most economic in the long run. Back ups are essential, as the longevity of our gear tends to be a known unknown and it's not always so easy to pop to the shops to buy replacements. Unless you're lucky and have a local store.
