What gauge kanthal do I need to get so I can get 6/7 turns round a 2mm blunt needle so I get about 1.4 to 1.8 ohms.

browzer have a look at POST by Super-Shiny. As you scroll down you will see a chart showing how many wraps round a 2mm drill bit with 0.25 Kanthal to get the ohms your seeking. Griff

If it's point something, in this case .25 it's mm if it's AWG it's just the number sometimes(but not always) followed by the letter g. 25g or 25 gauge. lol :-) trust those bloody Americans to confuse matters eh? hahaha :-)

This dam stupid gauge and awg stuff is catching me out too, I watch visa and they say they use 28 gauge kanthal, I buy 28 gauge kanthal only to find out it's .3mm and not .28 and so of course my ohms are all wrong. Anyway this site is good, you can click on any of the wires and they give the size and ohms per metre and all that jazz www.vape-atomizer-mesh.com/products/Kanthal-A1-Heat-Resistance-Wire.htmlYou need the speakers on to hear the jazz though
