I don't find that's the case as it is now myself silentscream, there are some jolly good clearo systems to be had now. All giving an excellent quality vape. I'd venture that it's the eliquid used that can on occasions let them down . . . . To be honest I'm quite happy with my Mini Protank 2's and the dual coil Aspire I got recently though the heads for the latter are a bit expensive to replace. I'm forever reading about how these clearos simply don't compare to a good RBA setup and how you haven't experienced a really good vape unless you go RBA. I'm really crap at fiddly stuff like that so it's out for me so I suppose there's an element of bitterness in my attitude because of that Don't be bitter. With the arrival of the likes of the Protank, my rebuildables other than drippers are stored away for the Apocalypse . . . why faff when you don't have to.

Yep come The Dark Day when vaping is torn apart by politicians to drag that money back into the coffers from big tobacco I will be going back to my youtube RBA For Total Dummies videos

Even after Mary Jane was banned in the States, up to this day you can buy the 'works' legally. It's illegal to use them for the purpose for which they were intended. But vaping? No, the EU want to ban the sticks in which juice could 'possibly' be used. There must be a legal precedent for ruling out such a ban...

I know I am late to this thread but I see a poll and have to vote in it. I am feeling quite content with what I have at the moment and do not feel any urgency for anything new but I do agree that things seemed to have slowed down a bit. It may be I just get less excited these days when something new comes along with being so content with what I already have.

It's much like the smartphone or tablet market. Massive innovation when it's a new technology then just improvements on top. How many innovations have there been in any technology once it's become established and had mass acceptance?
The most important things with vaping is stuff performs well, is cheap and fairly reliable and that's what we've got. I'd like a revolution rather than a evolution but save for coil-less and wick-less with self recharging batteries not sure what else they could do.

One thing you can be sure of is that there will be a huge amount of innovation when the true impact of the TPD regulations becomes clearer. For now it would be foolish for manufacturers to put time and money into R&D for a new product that may end up being banned

i'd like to see a 18650 pipe although there may already be one out there. i havent looked properly. wick and coil free thingies would be ideal for folks like me but tanks and clearos are throwaway prices nowadays
