Clivia if your comfortable with the fatness of a mech mod I'd suggest a nemesis with an evolv kick2 Then you can chop and change the tubes as required and can accommodate all batteries.

I was going to suggest the g16 but if you're not into 14500 mods it won't suit you. That said, it's a great wee mod. Not put mine down since it arrived. Nemesis in 18350 mode is proper dainty too. Just measured and it's 15mm shorter than the g16 when in 18350 mode.

I have a couple of mech mods and a kick Clivia and to be honest, if you chop and change your juice, like I do, the ease of changing you wattage/voltage to suit your mood/time of day/juice with a regulated mod is just much easier. They aren't particularly expensive if you get a clone, but for me, they are a bit of a faff, mine are gathering dust at the moment. That might change when my purple nemi tubes arrive and aesthitics trump practicality though

thanks Greg - and where could I find that - cause the provari looks great - but it's more than I want to spend now Nemesis here, there maybe marginally cheaper options but suggest you ensure you get the Hcigar brand, I have two from this vendor and there spot on. www.vapegeek.co.uk/Hcigar-Nemesis-556.htmyou can also get a mixed version www.vapegeek.co.uk/Hcigar-Custom-Nemesis-97.htmyou can get an evolve kick2 from cloud 9 although there about £36 pound and cloud9 postage is quite high, about £6 I think. Others May advice cheaper suppliers. You can also get an evolv kick1 for I think £26. theres undoubtably cheaper suppliers dependant on how long you want to wait. anyone bought a cheap evolv kick lately and got a link ?

If you get a nemmy Clivia then you really need a 22mm atty to finish it off, perhaps a kayfun once you get the microcoils off to a T

Clivia- if you do decide to go with the Nemmy and kick route, I bought the kick 1 directly from evolv. Think it came to about £13 inc postage from the US. Only useful if you if you don't go above 10 watts though www.evolvapor.com/shop.php

For height in a high quality tube vw mod, the dicodes dani has got to be one of the smallest if not THE smallest.
In 18350 it's only 79mm tall.
Now, I can't find the height of the nemesis in 18500 mode (18350 + kick) but I do know this;
Nemesis in 18650 mode (18500 with kick) is 109mm.
Dani in 18650 is 111mm.
As an aside, the provari in 18650 is 117mm.

Funny, I've been looking into this subject on and off since I started vaping! For minimum height any tidy 18500 mech mod (kick+18350) will be the shortest you can get. Having said that, I've just compared my Sentinel (actually pretty big top/bottom caps) and it doesn't size up well to a Cool Fire 1. Bear in mind that's with a flat 510 connection on the Sentinel and EGO cone on the Cool Fire 1 so they did a really tidy job there! Kick vs fixed 8.5w? Hmm... up to you. Historically your first choice would be a Mini-Lavatube but the current versions are rubbish You can't rustle up a 14500 mech/kick combo so this means you'd probably have to get a mere VV-only 14500 mod. Honourable mention here for the Swig, even though it's really taller and the same diameter overall as the Cool Fire 1, it feels so light in the hand. Amusing dial around the top for setting voltage, I think it's based on 1st generation iTaste gear. The only other comparable device I've found is the Robust Lambo Round but I've not got round to ordering one yet to compare to the Swig, still only VV If you can get by with some minor VV control there's always this:

There were talks a while ago that L-Rider (manufacturer of the robust) will be making a provari killer in the next year or so in conjunction with a german mod maker.. going to be around £70 apparently.. keeping my ear to the ground on that one!
