juliet42... You have been sentenced to 30 lashings with a feather duster! Don't worry about it, you'll remember the experience next time, and has been said many times, count the ones you haven't had.

Decided a little "shiney" shopping tomorrow will help me keep to the straight and narrow! Well they say shopping is therapy, don't they?

Fret not, its only a little blip
and yes! exactly!! shiny shopping keeps me well behaved. I know I CANNOT fall back into smoking as i'm surrounded with hundreds of pounds of my hard earned money in vape gear. yes its a ploy to keep me good, as i'm also tight over wastage

Oh well, tomorrow is another day It's an old adage around here, but count the ones you don't have, not the ones you do. my mistake when I've tried to give up in the past is having one and then thinking "well I've blown it now, might as well have another" - but it's simply not true, especially now there is a much tastier alternative!

I know I CANNOT fall back into smoking as i'm surrounded with hundreds of pounds of my hard earned money in vape gear. yes its a ploy to keep me good, as i'm also tight over wastageDitto with an extra motivation - my OH would go apesh*t at me due to the amount of shiny items I've accumulated and of course the money spent. I wouldn't DARE light up a stinkie, not that I want to anyway. But for all newbies starting out with vaping, don't worry too much about falling off the wagon with one or two mishaps, it happens juliet42 - good excuse for another shiny item though

According to your banner you've avoided 225 cigs for that one you smoked.
I wish someone would offer me those odds on the Grand national tomorrow!

I'm going back a bit, but I remember falling off the wagon. It was easy to do with a smoker in the house. Every time I fell off, it got easier to resist doing it again. In the end I had a clearo sitting ready with high nic (well high for me 12mg, the really strong stuff ) If I felt the cravings I had a few puffs on that (used a flavour I didn't like much to stop me using it if I didn't need it). Been steadfastly on the wagon for ages now, and don't even have my emergency clearo to hand

It's easy to fall from the wagon, the good bit is you had one, and didn't like it. It takes a strong person to come on and admit that, so I am sure you won't do it again. But if you do, don't beat yourself up about it. You look to have done a great job staying off already.
